Description

The 200 year old house has been restored to a high modern standard but still retains many traditional canarian features including balconies, wood floors, window seats and wooden roofs. A unique enclosed balcony and the first floor spacious lounge (with its french windows leading to a 'Romeo and Juliet' balcony) offer spectacular views of the bay of Santa Cruz and the mountains behind. With a large well-equipped kitchen, dining room with log-burning stove, four double bedrooms, two en suites and a large family bathroom, the villa is ideal for a relaxing family holiday. However the villa will also suit couples or singles who love space and privacy. We provide towels, bedding and a welcome pack of basic items for your arrival.

The large heated pool is located on its own terrace with subtropical plants, shrubs and trees and panoramic views over the bay of Santa Cruz.

Located centrally on the picturesque side of the island, the capital Santa Cruz and the beach resort of Los Cancajos are an only a 15 minute drive away. The small town of San Pedro with its bars, cafes, shops and supermarkets is five minutes away by car.

La Palma is unspoilt by mass tourism and the whole island is a nature reserve. It is the greenest of the Canary islands, a real walkers ‘ and nature lovers’ I paradise.

Getting around

A car is recommended though there is a bus service to the nearby towns of San Pedro and Mazo. With a car you can reach most areas of the island in a matter of hours. Our villa is centrally located and there are good roads leading to the south and the north of the island and a mountain road and tunnel which can take you to the other side of the island in 45 minutes. The airport and the capital Santa Cruz are only 20 minutes away by car. If you want to go out to a nearby restaurant without a car there are a number of reliable local taxi firms.
