Description

In the heart of Budapest, in the pedastrian street of Hajós utca with restaurants, bars, and cafes, just a footstep away from the parties, You will find a quiet, nice place to have rest after the dizzy downtown of Budapest. The opera and the shopping street of Andrassy street, the Hungarian "Champs Elysée" is just 100 m from the flat.

The flat consists of a living room with an american style kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom with shower, and garderobe. All together 4 people can sleep in the flat, 2 in the bedroom, and 2 in the living room on a pull out sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary dishes and cutlery, microwave, toaster, water cooker. We also have a Nespresso cafe machine with some starter capsules for our guests. In the bathroom you will find a hair dryer, soap, toilet paper and fresh towels.
You will have access of free WIFI, with the best connection in Hungary.

You will find a brochure in the apartment where I will list some important information, recommendations about restaurants and bars to visit.

In the neighbourhood you can enjoy the Hungarian lifestyle, with lots of cafes, bars, and restaurant, and the beautiful Opera, which is only 100m from the apartment. The ruin pubs such as "Szimpla kert" and the famous "Gozsdu udvar" with its restaurants and bars, are just a footstep away. On the Andrassy street, which is called the Hungarian "Champs Elysées" you will find all kind of designer shops like LV, Gucci, MaxMara, Burberry, and a sopping mall only with designer brands called "Il baccio di Stile".

Lots of sightseeing places are within walking distance, but if you choose to use the subway number 1, you just have to get off at station: Opera. Or with the other subways number : 2,3,4 you have to get off at Deak ter, or Oktogon. From Oktogon it is about 5 minutes walking distance.

The flat is non-smoking.
Pets are not allowed.

Getting around

The U1 (yellow line) stops about 100 m from the flat at the Opera station. Oktogon station is just 200 m away where you can use the 4-6 non stop tram line. Hop-on Hop-off buses just on the Andrássy street at the Operahouse station.

“Great apartment”

Lovely apartment well placed to discover the city. The apartment was just as the pictures show in a quiet residential area. It was easy to catch public transport from and we walked to the sites with ease. Szilvia, the host, was very helpful and answered questions quickly. Would definitely recommend.
