Description

Surrounded by lush tropical greenery, our Philippine Beach House offers a tranquil and comfortable accommodation with direct access to the beach. Offering garden/sea views from the big terrasse, the holiday home includes 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a living room. There is an additional outside shower for guests, who come from snorceling at our coral reef in front of the house. The kitchen is equiped with needed facilites. Towels, bed lining are included.

We offer food-service from adjacent restaurant, dinner/lunch/breakfast, laundry/ironing service on request.

The Beach house is constructed in traditional Philippine style. Sak-sak roof, equiped with mahogany wood and rattan furnitures and cabinets. In sommer time, the month of March to July, guest can use the air condition in all three bed rooms.

Our Philippines Beach House is situated at the island of Cebu in the south part of the archipelago.

Santander is in the southernmost point of the island. Across the "Tanon strait" there is Negros Island.

Guests enjoy the tranquility and independency in our place, well-suited for a longterm holiday.

Snorkeling in our house reef or scuba diving is also possible for our guests. We suggest a boat trip to the Dolphin watching at Bais, hundreds of free living Dolphins lives there permanently, visit the wale-sharks and waterfalls at Oslob. Visit the magic Kawassan-Falls in Badian near Moal-boal..

Shopping at Dumaguete City in the day time and in the evening you can enjoy the traditional philippine food in the restaurants and life music entertainments.

We provide a transfer from/to the domestic Airport Dumaguete-City for 300 perso per person, a pick up from the International Airport of Cebu-City costs 4500 peso (1-2 person) and 5500 peso (for up to 8 person) one way, it is 135 km, almost 3 hours time for tansportation by taxivan.

We offer a new motor-bike for rent, 500 peso per day or 2500 peso per week.

Response from the owner The publisher from this and in next reviews are just one a couple. Steve and Carlo ( Carlotta ). He is an American and she is a Filipina. They stayed twice in our beach house, they stayed last year for 3 days at our beach house.They booked thru TripAdvisor for 2 person but they were coming in with many relatives, but we tolerated it because her Auntie Vergie is a good friend of us.So this year july, her Auntie Vergie called me that her Niece Carlotta would like to stay again in our beach house for 2 weeks with 2 person and baby. Because their house is still under construction.So, we gave them a 50% discount. Our beach house is self catering, we are not resposible for foods and drinks.We provided 4 Gallons of drinking water, each Gallon has 12 Liters.It is enough for 2 persons.But her Grandma, Aunties, Uncles and many children were there too staying with them.I did not collect any extra charge for this people.They were making party in our house, and said were they not happy or satisfied? I think they make a promotion for their own house at the end of this Reviews. I've been there last week to checked but it is still under construction. They have neighbors from left and right with pigs and chicken.Regarding the garbage, my sister collected it every 2 days. They wrote 2 separate negativecomments regarding our house, so it should looks, they are different persons? We provided for our booked guests enough towels and bed linens. (not fot the unbooked people).We changed it once a week if our guests stayed for long term.We had a French guests last April, they stayed in our house for one month and they were all happy and satisfied. We are not a hotel, our house keeper is not for, making the beds and clean the house every day. One of our aircon was broken at that time because all day and night were on but the next day got repair.Now, we replace new inverter aircon in each bedroom. Sometimes, in the Philippines had brownout, we are not responsible for this. TV cable load was due in the night, stores are closed, so next morning my sister bought a load for TV. In general, why they came back again if everythings are so bad? So, we recommend our other guest to make their own opinion about this comments .

Response from the owner Thanks for the nice review. It is true, our house is a little out of the village because of noise and animals smell is there permanently in a Filipino village. That's why we offer our guests a motorscooter for a small fee, so you can reach all destinations easily. (There is also the possibility of a pick up hire car.) Since a short time there is a new ferry-boat to Negros-island, where you can take the scooter. So you are completely independent of local transport in Dumaguete. The little lizards are highly desirable in the house, they are absolutely harmless. In Santander or Liloan village (1 km away) there are shopping at a publick market and small shops. Big stores and mals they are in Dumaguete, to get the ferry to the neighboring island of Negros in almost one hour, this little trip is a great experience. The water of the see is from deep blue ut to turquoise-green color. Before the house we have a Pebbels-beach. That is a mixture of sand and parts of Korrallen pieces. You need slippers to walk. One should know, however. If you want to see coral and colorful fish that will not be at a pure sandy beach, or just is very little organic life. Since I like to snorkel and dive, so I build the house exactly at this point to observe the wonders of underwater world in the house reef. Qour guest can use our flippers mask and snorcels.
