Location, location, location! Villa Priree Chaweng is located in the heart of Chaweng right above the Tesco Lotus shopping complex. It is just a few minutes drive away from the main beach, all nightlife, and shopping.

The villa features a breathtaking sea view of the Gulf of Thailand and an oversize swimming pool. It has all of the amenities for entertaining, a bar with a pool table, a private air conditioned gym, terraces and balconies. It has 5 bedrooms with on suite baths and maid's quarters. The villa can accommodate up to 12 people.

Ideal for a large family or a group of friends, who wish to stay in the heart of Koh Samui!

February 2017 update: the villa had a few major upgrades, all new furniture, exterior paint, new stainless steel railings, super-fast 150+ Mbps fiber optic internet, smart TV, and more!

Response from the owner Hi Rachid, I'm glad it worked out at the end and you enjoyed your stay. A couple of thoughts. I am aware that the villa is not brand new. It is well reflected in the price. You booked it initially for 80,000 baht or 10,000 baht a night, a price of a nice single hotel room. A brand new villa of that size (5bdr, pool, gym, etc.) would cost you much more. That said, the villa is kept in adequate condition. Other guests visited this season and were very happy with their stay. Airconditioning, pool, gym equipment, water, etc. all work. Things do break every once in a while, especially in a house of that size, but they are repaired, as soon as guests report them out of order. Locals will try to get kickbacks from arranging taxis or anything else for you. That has been their way of life since the island became a tourist destination. It is different from back home, but there is nothing you or I can about it. Additional cleaning does cost extra. It is 600 baht per cleaning. Sunti did go out of the way though to pick you up at Nathon Pier, on the opposite side of the island. One final thought. You may consider trying to resolve issues directly with the owner first, as opposed to immediately complaining to TripAdvisor or to your credit card company. I did offer to give you a 50% refund, as soon as you said you were not completely satisfied. Getting a third party involved only delayed the process, as they were concerned with keeping their entire booking fee, not with expediting your refund. You do not need "protection," if the owner is willing to accommodate you.
