Spacious self catering ground floor bungalow apartment in the desirable and popular LOS MOLINOS complex in Costa Teguise. Very close to Bastian beach, 5 minutes walk.The apartment has a spacious living area, 2 bedrooms, one with double bed and another bedroom with two single beds. 1 bathroom, garden, terrace and pool. Fully equipped kitchen.

The Molinos complex, designed by famous artist Cesar Manrique offers two private pools for adults and children, a playground and two bars and a french restaurant.

It is situated in an area with numerous international restaurants and supermarket nearby. The complex has a beautifully kept garden and a large swimming pool in a safe and quiet environment where you can spend your days re-charging your batteries. This holiday is ideal to relax and enjoy the sunshine and beaches of Lanzarote.

“Holiday marred by a poor response to the problems we reported.”

Not impressed at all with the lack of help given by the owner to the problems we encountered: We arrived late on Tuesday evening and could not open the front door with the key provided. After half an hour we had given up and I tried calling the assistance number but it was too late in the evening to get a reply. Eventually we managed to open it (don't know how) and, after oiling it with liquid soap the next day, it continued to be unpredictable and very worrying. The owner made the very unhelpful suggestion of leaving the garden entrance unlocked which, apart from the security considerations, would have meant us negotiating walls with climbs and drops, in the dark and with cacti to avoid. We were promised that someone would come to help and we wasted at least a couple of days of our holiday by not going on excursions so that we could be close at hand if someone came to fix the lock and TV (see below). It was Saturday before the owner's handyman finally came to properly fix the lock. WARNING - be careful how you pull the door closed - the knob is very close to the door post and you could strip your knuckles bare. We also had trouble with the television. After successfully following the instructions, we got it working for one night after which we got nothing but 'no signal' and a variety of other error messages. After having made numerous attempts and asking the on-site office for help, all to no avail, we asked the owner, several times, to get a local company to come in to sort it out. There seemed to be a great reluctance to commission anyone do this and all we got were unhelpful technical exchanges. Eventually the local handyman helped us get the channels. Overall, our holiday was marred by a very poor response to the problems we reported.

Response from the owner I am very sorry you had some issues. But this is Spain where everything is mañana, mañana. So assistance takes more time we want it to. There is a high speed fiber internet network, but true, IP television is not always stable. It is no use to press all the buttons, just switch the AC off and on again is the best solution. As I mentioned to you before there was no reason to wait for the handyman. He has a key to enter. In the end he just sprayed some silicone, which was available in the cupboard in the hall, because on the island sand is everywhere. I do hope you enjoyed the nice warm climate, serene atmosphere and the good food on the island.

Apartment ideally located and quite ,close to bars and restauraunts,even had our own cat for 10 days.(cat was also friendly but shy).Would definitely stop here again.

“Los molinos”

Lovely apartment in a great location. Anne, the lady who looks after the apartment was really helpful and lovely. The beds were comfortable and it has a great shower. The only negative was there were no English channels on the tv but that was a minor issue for us. There is a great pool for the children to play in and a separate smaller pool suited to adults swimming. I would definitely recommend it.
