Summer Residence ILLYRIA is completely renovated, elegantly appointed and radiates authenticity to its coastal Croatian origins. Local offices of the Croatian Department of Tourism have granted Summer Residence ILLYRIA a 4-star rating. Apartment 'Velebit' is a large one-bedroom apartment extending over two levels with its 67 sqm of living space – nothing is narrow, no cluttered or overloaded space. The spacious living room, kitchen and half bath are on the lower level, while the bedroom and bathroom are situated on the top level. The dining area seats four people, while the private terrace invites for cozy breakfasts in the morning or romantic dinners in the evening all while overlooking the courtyard and its grape vine arbor.The apartment is furnished with everything and provides many amenities:

-The kitchen has all the necessary dishes, cutlery, cooking utensils and its pantry is stacked with spices, sugar, salt, pepper, coffee, milk & butter, mineral water, cotton/paper towels, jams and other things.

-Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel (AVEDA products), bio-cotton swabs and pads, hair dryer, hygiene products, etc. are furnished in the bathroom.

-Lines, towels, beach towels, bath robes are provided during your stay.

-The entire apartment is cleaned on a daily basis (you don't even have to wash dishes if you don't feel up to it) and the end cleaning is also included in the price. Linens are changed once a week and fresh towels are provided every three days.

-WiFi, internet, satellite TV, a well-staked library and variety of games are available at the residence. Washing machine and ironing equipment are also available in the laundry room.

-On-site parking is available for our guests.Apartment 'Velebit' is ideal for couples of any age.

Families with small children are easily accommodated. There is plenty of space to place your travel cot and your children can play safely in the courtyard. Summer Residence ILLYRIA is located in the valley 'Vinodol', a valley parallel to the coast line of the Adriatic Sea stretching from the Bakar Bay in the north to the city of Novi Vinodolski in the south. The residence sits on a small rise overlooking the valley which opens toward the southeast and granting breathtaking views of the valley, Novi Vinodolski, the Adriatic and the mountain range 'Velebit'. The valley is just a few kilometers from the coast line and is at an elevation of approximately 200 meters above sea level. Due to its location, the residence escapes crowdedness and the typical hustle and bustle of many Croatian coastal and vacation resorts. It turns out to be the most suitable refuge for a vacation which stimulates and relaxes mind, soul and body and allows drawing new strength through this summoned state of wellbeing. Getting around

Most convenient way to getting around is a car. Croatia has a good highway and motorway system, which brings you to all interesting sights. The toll for using the "Autobahn" is, compared to surrounding countries like Slovenia, Austria or Italy, very cheap. Due to the well developed road network, bus transportation is a popular means to getting around as well. There are three airports within a 2-hour drive from the Residence: Rijeka Airport is about 30 minutes away located on the Island Krk. Croatia's capital Zagreb Airport can be reached in two hours using the motorway. Pula Airport is located at the southern tip of Istrian Peninsula and is about 140 km away. The surrounding area around the Residence is suitable for road/mountain biking.

Interaction with guest

When you reach the property, the owner will welcome you and show you around the Residence, the apartment, and guest accessible areas. You receive the keys to the apartment after completing some final paperwork and the security deposit. The owner's quarters are a part of the Residence. The owner takes care of the daily cleaning (which is part of the service and free of charge) and will arrange with you a convenient time to complete this service. The owner is available during your stay for recommendations, advise, help, problems, etc.
