Description

It is an attractive centrally air-conditioned 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with double garage in a small peaceful development. The home has a fully fenced-in garden at the rear with a large rectangular 31' x 15' screened-in swimming pool. It is fully furnished and has wide selection cable TVs and DVD players, all appliances, utensils, cutlery, crockery, sheets, linens and towels. In other words it is a home away from home.

The Orlando attractions are all within minutes drive. Orlando airport is 20 minutes drive and the famous beaches of Clearwater and Daytona on either side are 1 hour drive away. There are several small lakes near by as well as championship golf resorts. There are also newly built strip malls with a Publix supermarket just 1 mile away. Other shopping areas and restaurants are just a few miles away.

Response from the owner This review is an outrageous lie as anyone can see that the home has a fully screened-in pool where there can be no way bugs will enter unless the guest leaves the pool screen door open, and also the house doors open. On a second count there never has been any gas grill in the house at any point so that is another outrageous lie. The house has a large fully-fenced-in backyard. Also there were supposed to be only 4 people who booked my home, although there were regularly several cars in the driveway, even overnight as reported by the neighbors. These people booked my home for 4 weeks, and then asked for an extension for another 4 weeks which they got. If there were any of these problems they would not have bee desperate for an extension. Thanks. Owner

Response from the owner This lady has completely fabricated the facts. She was looking for the lowest rate on the site for 5 star hotel accomodation. Indeed she paid one if the lowest rates around. Her comments about the ant infestation, dirty carpets, disgusting pool were absurd and we had the cleaner and pool company check the home as fast as possible. As I was in hospital my wife clearly stated that things cannot happen at the press of a button and hence the helicopter comment This was after the person was extremely rude throughout.

Response from the owner This person did not want to pay the price and kept on trying to reduce it until the last moment. I actually moved to my home the morning he left and within a few hours of his departure. The garden area next to the pool was used to dump a lot of trash, the A/C thermostat was taken down to 62F which would have ultimately severely damaged the system (despite clear notices above the thermostat to not drop the temperature below 75F). I have date stamped photos of both of these immediately on our arrival, all the linen/bedding & towels were dumped all over the floor and several of these items were missing. My pool guy had to make two additional unnecessary visits as it had rained heavily the previous days for no reason whatsoever. For this I paid extra call out charges. I charged a small amount from the security deposit which led to his blatant lies review. I will never again allow such customers who basically want to stay for nothing and lie like this when they are held accountable.
