Description

"Mandalay" is a beautiful villa fully enclosed for privacy with 1.5 acres of tropical gardens. The villa is set on a hill with wonderful panoramic view of the paddy fields and countryside. Furnishing is to an exceptional standard, with all rooms en-suite and benefiting from air conditioning. A veranda surrounds half of the house with comfortable seating and al fresco dining.

The pool is suitable for all the family with a specific area for children. There are 3 cabanas: from 2 of them you can sit and admire the fabulous views. The property has a manager who will cater for your specific holiday requirements (travel to beaches,amenities and tours). There is also full time security and cleaning staff. A chef is included with the rental of the house (does not include the food costs)

Our Booking Policy. To secure your booking, a deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking. Balance is due 30 days in advance of arrival date. Details of how to pay will be made available at time of booking. Cancellations will incur loss of deposit.

Please be advised that Sri Lanka has introduced an online visa system for all travellers arriving in Sri Lanka from January 1, 2012. Visitors must apply for the Electronic Travel Authorization via www.eta.gov.lk established in the Department of Immigration and Emigration.

Local transportation to beaches, shops, restaurants, supermarkets is free but any travel further than a 5 mile radius is chargeable.

A chef is included in our charges. All food and drink is extra.

Outside there are 3 cabanas and 6 sun loungers within the beautiful tropical garden. Although our pool is unheated, trust us, you wont be cold - it averages 28 degrees C!

We have a tree house for you to enjoy with uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside. You climb this at your own risk.

Mandalay has an extensive coverered terrace where you can enjoy alfresco dining or just relax in one of the seating areas.

Sudu, Villa Mandalays manager is available 24 hours a day. Chataranga, our house boy cleans the pool every morning and deals with daily housekeeping. Ranghi, our exceptional chef is there for all of your meal times and has a very wide repertoire of local and international dishes.
