Beautiful beach paradise.

Our 2 bedroom apartment is located directly on the beach with stunning views. There is a Double, Single and a sofa bed.

We also own apartment no 3 located above no 8, this apartment is 2 bedroom but has an interlinking door therefore giving the ability to sleep upto 10. Both apartments will need to booked together so please check the availability. Apartment 3 also has the sole use of the roof area giving total privacy to sunbathe and socialise.

El Caleton is situated about one mile north of the village of El Cotillo, in the north of Fuerteventura. Set amidst the small 'coves' of fine, white sand and the turquoise-blue, salt water lagoons of El Cotillo in Fuerteventura's untouristy northwest, El Caleton is a small, secluded, peaceful, whitewashed group of beachside self-catering apartments, set in a sub-tropical garden with dragon trees, bougainvillea, oleander and hibiscus. The apartments we offer here are uniquely positioned right on the beach. Do you have the imagination?

'Yes you could be stranded on a desert island with a few mod cons'.

So if you're a dedicated sun-worshipper or a beachcomber, a naturist, a keen surfer, windsurfer or snorkeler, this is the place. for you.

The first weekend in July is the music festival, during this period the beaches become busy as locals join in the festivities which can go on late into the night.

El Cotillo is a small fishing village, renowned for its fresh fish restaurants. It has the benefit of being unspoilt by tourism. In Correlajo (about 20 minutes away) there is a market once a week, a water park and plenty of restaurants.

Those looking for big supermarkets, nightclubs or a promenade in El Cotillo will be disappointed. However, there are small supermarkets, banks, a pharmacy, a French bakery, a few cafes and some restaurants overlooking the sea serving fine fish dinners. There are also other shops for your everyday needs and internet access is readily available.

The centre of the town is the area around the old harbour and there are more restaurants towards the lagoon beaches.

El apartamento no está mal, pero las vistas desde la terraza no son realmente lo que esperabamos, porque en realidad lo que ves es la terraza de tu vecino que está a menos de 1 metro de distancia, por lo que la intimidad se reduce a cero. Además durante nuestra estancia decidieron hacer reformas en el complejo, con el concentimiento y conocimiento de los propietarios, ocacionando ruidos molestos durante el día, ( y la propietaria no nos informó de que esas obras coincidirían con nuestra estancia).

Response from the owner Gracias por su comentario, sin embargo, creo que su opinión un poco confuso teniendo en cuenta su mensaje durante su estancia lo mucho que estaban disfrutando de nuestro apartamento y las instalaciones de su mensaje escribió "Hola Linda la casa es fantástica y estamos disfrutando mucho" consulta fue el WIFI que resolvimos rápidamente al recibir su mensaje. Sin embargo, me gustaría dirigirme a sus comentarios que ha hecho 1. La mayoría de los apartamentos tienen balcones adyacentes en cualquier complejo nuestras vistas ofrecen al mar y el complejo está a sólo unos pasos y directamente a la playa. Las fotos muestran en nuestra cartera la ubicación, también que los apartamentos son sólo 11 en total están situados lejos de las propiedades contiguas, así que es un poco único en su ubicación. 2. Al igual que cualquier trabajo de mantenimiento complejo es necesario, después de haber investigado sus comentarios sobre esto, sí el pintor estaba en el sitio en el último día de su estancia que somos conscientes que es muy considerado que involucró pintura algunas áreas de las paredes que no debería tener afectado su privacidad desde el balcón, sólo puedo pedir disculpas por este inconveniente, sin embargo, puede haber notado el complejo se mantiene a un nivel muy alto que estamos muy orgullosos de. Para concluir los huéspedes visitar año tras año como El Caleton ofrece la idílica ubicación no se encuentra en muchas otras partes y vacaciones vacaciones pero conserva sus características de ser adorable de todos los que visitan encontrar su crítica a ser un poco subjetivo teniendo en cuenta su correo electrónico recibido que difiere a su revisión ahora recibida. we look forward to welcoming you back to El Caleton

Response from the owner Hi Lucyna Thank you for bringing your comments to our attention, and I apologise for the delayed response, having researched and received feedback on the issues you raise Yes a Car is recommended, to get to El Caleton which is situated on the beach road outside the village of Cottilo, but if you wish tranquillity then El Caleton is the place, However the local restaurant is situated within 200 metres walk the village is approx 500 metres. 10 minute walk were all amenities are available, Buses, Restaurants, numerous Super Markets, Shops etc, I feel your comment re balcony is totally incorrect as the pictures are clearly taken from the balcony and you can clearly see the garden and sea view. The balcony's are not connected side by side and are not joined and certainly your 20cm comment is a little out of context. I have checked housekeeping with regard to the smells, and also clients over the last several weeks whom visited including my daughter and their are no reported concerns which you refer too equally the hot water does cater for 4 showers at least. Re Cooker and your comments I feel this is a little subjective to opinions, as most cooker rings are fitted beneath kitchen cupboard. The Complex is supplied by generator however this ceases at approx. 11pm. the battery backup is more than adequate supply and the generator does not run all day as you infer, I have not had any comments regarding wifi, and sadly the Spanish Islands do not offer Broadband to the standards we are accustomed in the UK, however our download and upload speeds offer good provision for general browsing, however streaming is slow, facetime- skpe works fine, we do offer WIFI free. We do not offer Aircon. The information pertaining to buses is in the local magazine and we have no control over timings. To conclude if you look at the general reviews El Caleton offers an idyllic location away from the manic way of life we are accustomed too, I am saddened this was not to your liking and can only apologies that the tranquil setting of El Caleton did not meet your expectations, however many come year after year to enjoy. thank you The Owners
