Waking up to the sound of a waterfall in the background makes "Neverbeen to Cascade Valley" a real never been spot to bunk down in Ella. Price is for a double room with attached bathroom in a family managed villa surrounded with vegetable-flower garden, with amazing scenic views - Located right in front of Ravana Falls. There's a shortcut to Ella Rock on the premises while Ella town and the railways station are about a mile away. Happy to help if you're looking for triple, family or group stays.

Getting around

When you hear Sri Lankans speak about Ella, it sounds as if they're talking about some icy alpine base camp high up in the clouds. "It's freezing there", they say. "Bring warm clothes", they say. But don't worry: although this might be one of the few places in the country where a hot shower is justified, Ella is a very nice place to cool off after a week on Sri Lanka's beaches. "Neverbeen to Cascade Valley" is located right in front of Ravana Falls. There’s a shortcut to Ella Rock on the premises., while Ella town and the railways station are about a mile away.

Interaction with guest

We were welcomed with tea and biscuits by Mr. Thilak - the host, a retired army officer who lives in separate spaces on the premises, together with his wife and two kids who are - curiously - both called Nadeesha. The family built the house with a loan from the bank and run it together. Things are going pretty well so far. Upon request they happily arrange food, transport and tours in the area.

How do damage deposits work?
