Apartment is newly build in 2007,hardly being used and has all the things one need for a relaxed holiday.the area offers a lot of excitement for various ages.Estepona is a quiet old town with good restaurants and attractive boulevard.Puerto Banus offers nightlife and famous restaurants.30 golfcourts within 30 minutes drive.for the kids dolfin spotting,visit the Gibraltar rock and many more things to do

“Unscrupulous Home Owner Leslie De Ruiter Refuses refund”
We arrived at reception Aparthotel Marazul and met by Marco who was far from welcoming. 16:45 Marco showed us in the apartment and showed us how the air conditioning worked etc. He left after 5 minutes. We were in shock at to how filthy dirty the apartment was along with most of the cupboards being full of personal effects either from Leslie family or the previous client? With Covid 19 still prevalent it felt unhygienic and frightening to say the least. In addition there where half used soaps and shampoos in the shower along with a number of ladies tampons under the sink. In the kitchen the cupboards where full of used spices coffee, tea and half a bag of frozen peas in the fridge. in general very dirty. The coffee table in the main room had cup marks on the table and coasters with the centre piece on the table full of dust and pieces of dirt. boxes in the lounge where full of kids toys and sea shells all very dirty. I could go on. I returned to reception and informed Marco of the situation now 17:05. He was far from receptive and said the cleaner had been and the apartment was clean. I phoned TripAdvisor and the recorded message told me to contact the owner in all cases to resolve any complaints regarding the apartment. That I did and Leslie was shocked and very apologetic. he spoke with Marco at length and he was told that nothing could be done until the next day due to the time. he offered to remove his personal items as soon as he could he was polite and helpful. I returned to Julia in the apartment to find her emotionally broken as the apartment was booked for 30 days 1st July - 31st July. The apartment felt Covid 19 unsafe, unhygienic so we made the decision to leave and find alternative accommodation for the month of July. Time: 17:20 I phoned Leslie and informed him of our decision , he was again very apologetic. He specifically said he would refund us 100% on the condition we did not involve TripAdvisor and we agreed. 4 days later we had not received the refund as promised I contacted Leslie and he sent a text to say the money was due in any time now. the next day he text to say he had received the funds and would be returning them to our account if we accepted €6610 which is €7410 less TripAdvisor's booking fees. Then 30 minutes later he text me saying I had contacted TripAdvisor and I was fake so he would not refund us. It is now apparent that this was his intention all along and a Scam assisted by TripAdvisor. We have followed there instructions to the letter and now TripAdvisor say because they have transferred the money to Leslie De Ruiter he is now the only one can refund us. This cannot be right as we called the TripAdvisor helpline and followed the instructions to the letter. TripAdvisor has a duty of care to its clients to protect them from fraudulent scams by home owners Please refund our money in full and change your policy to avoid any more clients being scammed by unscrupulous home owners like Leslie De Ruiter. We have a compete transcript of this conversation which has been forwarded to TripAdvisor to no avail. We are now out of pocket to just over €15,000.00. If anyone can help us with this case and get the refund from TripAdvisor please don't hesitate to contact me ttony@theruddimans.co.uk Regards Tony & Julia

“Perfect 2 bedroom appartment beach condo in a quiet complex near Puro beach”

“High end appartment on prime location”
Had a really nice stay at Mar Azul. Estepona and supermercado nearby, 5 min drive from Puerto banus. 5 min walk to Laguna Village. Special thanks to host Leslie for the welcome package.

“Lovely apartment and complex”
My husband and I and our 10 year daughter stayed in the apartment at Mar Azul for 10 nights in August. This is our third holiday in this part of Spain and our choice of accommodation lived up to expectations. The apartment is beautiful. Modern stylish decor, very clean and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The complex is great, with a large swimming pool surrounded by lovely landscaped gardens. There are plenty of sunbeds around the pool and despite it being high season it didn't feel crowded at all. We walked along the sea front several times to Laguna Village, both during the day and on an evening for meals. This is a lovely place with a good choice of restaurants and a few boutique shops. We hired a car for the full 10 days and travelled about visiting Estepona, Puerto Banus, Marbella and Rhonda. Rhonda is beautiful town and well worth a visit. Secure parking is available in an underground carpark (under complex). The whole complex is gated and can only be accessed with a key card, so very safe/secure. One little point, the only English channels we could get on the TV were news channels. Overall we had a really great holiday and I would recommend this apartment☺️
