We fell in love with the Caribe Sur during a family vacation in 2004; the beauty, the people, the wildlife all captured our heart and occupied our thoughts. Over the next 6 years (and 21 trips!) we planned, designed and built our jungle house and tropical gardens. In 2010, we left our Oregon (US) home, our careers, and our grown children to "pre-tire" and launch a new adventure. The coastal village has become home, and with the acquisition of the boat, the fishing community has become our other family. We own and operate Wahoo Fishing & Tours in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, and we are partners in Hot Rocks Bar/Restaurant in the center of town. We delight in sharing our little slice of paradise with its' unique traditions, culture and history with family, friends and guests from around the world.
