The town of le Gosier is Guadeloupe Centre, ideally situated for visiting the beautiful sites that are, the Carbet falls, pointe des Châteaux, the gates of hell, the great Lookout, natural park, reserves of Commander Cousteau, the volcano of soufriere, the islands of les Saintes, Marie-Galante or petite-terre as well as countless other beautiful sites. You can pass in a blink of an eye in the lush forest or past barely light to a beautiful white sand beach sunny at the edge of a turquoise water. Creole cuisine that you can enjoy in the many local restaurants or homestay will delight your taste buds with its accras cod, black pudding, columbo of cabri or even the famous martias (local name for Octopus).
