Response from the owner We are sorry we have even one dissatisfied guest as we have had many happy guests stay at our city view apartment. We know it is impossible to please everyone but we do appreciate any constructive criticism that can help us to improve the accommodation. We know these guests disliked the complex from they arrived and did not even accept our offer to have our bell hop off load their luggage. We believe that many of the dissatisfaction arose from finding out that the apartment is on a upper floor which was stated on our description. We explained that we could not offer a refund as we had declined a repeat guest from Europe who was also very unhappy that he had to stay elsewhere in the complex on a lower floor. This other guest wanted to stay again for 10 nights and we could not refund for a reason that was not a misrepresentation on our part. We would like to address a few issues for the benefit of prospective guests who are seeking a desirable accommodation in the heart of the city. (1) There is no building codes breaches as the apartments were designed the way they it stands today. The kitchen appliances are all plugged into a heavy duty serge protector with an extension cord plugged in safely next to the kitchen. (2) The "box" and "old lamp" are kept beyond reach and out of view and can only be seen if someone climbs up to a tall cupboard and searches on top of the cupboard. The box is used to store extra toiletries and the lamp is an antique candle lamp that is used just in the even there is a power outage which is rare in this section of the city where major hotels are located. We though of moving the lamp but a couple who where our guest used it once to have a candle light dinner on the balcony and insight that we make sure its there when the return.. (3) The garbage outside was being collected for disposal by workmen who removed it quickly. This not a permanent occurrence at the complex. (4) The electrical cord socket was pulled down by a previous guest and since it was high up we did not notice it, but this has been fixed. (5) The pictures of the apartment are as shown on our brochure. There is a 2 seater sofa bed love seat in the living room. A 4 seater dinning table is also to one area of the living space. The bathroom has a regular bath tub with a shower, basin and toilet. This accommodation to some may not be considered to be small and is larger than an average hotel room. (6) The corridors in complex are lit but not with flood lights as some persons prefer a softer glow of light. I guess its all about personal preferences. We invite our prospective guests to look at the pictures that we display as there is nothing different in the apartment that we have failed to show. With the noise level our guests found to be annoying, again this is a first for us, as the unit is not very near to the roadway but it is in the city where other major hotels are located.

“Apartment was very comfortable”
The apartment was clean and comfortable, the view from the balcony was beautiful especially at night. Nice kitchen didn't cook but will on my next trip which will be soon.

“very convenient”
I enjoyed my 3 weeks stay here its in the prime location so restaurants and the night life is in walking distance...the apartment felt like home away from home!
