Description
Our family relative, a retired police officer, is always available to offer airport transfer and day trips in his van.
The holiday bungalow is less than 2 hours from the airport, Kandy, Sigiriya, Dambulla, Anuradhapura and safaris, all easy day trips which are not possible from coastal and southern areas.
We are also close to a train station and bus routes. Great shops and local markets are a short tuk tuk ride away!
Recently built traditional style Sri Lankan bungalow set in small ethnic village where you can immerse yourselves in the local culture and customs. It has all new solid teak furniture, electrical appliances and air-conditioning.
Two bedrooms have king-size beds and the third bedroom has two single beds. All beds have thick luxury mattresses. Two folding beds, linen and towels are also provided.
The lounge has a sofa suite and television and leads through an archway to the dining room.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooker, washing machine and fridge. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and hand basin.
Outside is a 10ft swimming pool and patio furniture. We also own the adjacent banana plantation which is available for guests to use.

The hosts organised a van with a driver to meet us at the airport when we arrived in Sri Lanka. On the way to the bungalow, we were taken to Pinnawala elephant orphanage which is a "must see"… More
