Description
Escondite or "The Hideaway" is a traditional style 3 bedroom villa, situated in the El Pedró area of L´Escala within 5 minutes walk of both the beach and the old Town. The villa´s proximity to the beaches and the old town with good amenities (including a large supermarket within 400 metres walk) mean it is not absolutely essential to have a car for this location.
The house is ideal for families and couples as it is located in a quiet, much sought after residential area on the edge of the old town. This is where the wealthy of L´Escala built their large town houses with gardens to escape the old town, where there is precious little space for a garden.
The villa is split over two floors. Downstairs the entrance hall leads to the Lounge dinner, up the stairs towards the bedrooms and to a separate cloakroom / WC. The large Lounge dinner is comfortably furnished and has the added benefit of a wood burning fireplace. A door leads from the dining area through to the kitchen. The stairs lead to an upstairs landing and the three bedrooms and the bathroom. Bedrooms one and two both have large balconies.
As well as the wood burning chimney the Villa has gas central heating so is ideal for golfers and those travelling out of season who want to be close enough to the old town to be able to walk to local bars and restaurants. For those wishing to be a little more active, the Villa is located approximately 100 metres from a sports centre, with 3 clay tennis courts, swimming pool, gym etc. Internet WIFI connection included.

“Nice family house in the garden”
Very well situated house, near to the city and also to the see. Many opportunities for trips and shopping. Very kind and helpful owner. Despite the fact the house is without pool, is located in the garden with pines, the air was fresh. But air-condition could be helpful in the hot days.
