Description
The most beautiful nature and scenery in Lofoten you find in the southern part of the island Lofoten. The small fisherman cabins (rorbu) are built on poles and situated on the shore of the sea.
We fell in love with this part of Scandinavia with their authentic small wooden houses. Here you find our Rorbu in the fishing village Tind, close to Å – the most southern village of the Lofoten where the nature is spectacular. The Rorbu is original and built around 1890 but later refurbished to modern standard but still has the old charm with the timber walls.
In Tind you can still today see the fishing boats docking in the harbor in front of the rorbu as they return from work at sea.
The Rorbu has a living room with a kitchenette. You have a sofa and a kitchen table. The living room is the heart of the cabin with a window where you have a view over the sea and the fishing village. The fire place guarantees you a warm and cosy stay. The living area is 56 square meters. It is fantastic to look out over the sea and at the same time see the flames from the fire.
The kitchenette is well equipped with a coffee machine, plates, glasses and cutlery for 6 persons in total. The stove has an oven. The fridge has a small freezer.
The Rorbu has two bedrooms with 2 beds (lower beds) in each bedroom. The beds and mattresses are new and very comfortable. It is also possible for 2 additional persons to stay at the loft. The bathroom has a shower, WC, wash basin and a washing machine.
End cleaning, bed linen and towels are included in the price.
For your convenience the kitchen have spices, salt and pepper and other things like sugar, oil and flour that you normally need when you are cooking. Feel free to use these things.

“Fantastic!”
Beautifull "rorbu" in the south part of the Lofoten Island, a paradis on earth! Perfect for a familly with 2 kids. This Rorbu is not situated by the sea but ON the sea! It is actually possible to fish from the balcony... It is the most authentic way of living like a real fisherman from the Lofoten.
