Description
Only 45-minutes by car from Estonian capital Tallinn, 71km.
Just about 2 min walk from cottage to the nice sandy beach with wild rose bushes and swans often swim here.
Or you could lay on the gardengrass and enjoy birds singing.
Our holiday home is located on the northern peninsula of Estonia, named Pärispea. In village Suurpea, territory of the Lahemaa National Park.
In fine weather you can enjoy your morning coffee listening to the birds singing in the garden of cottage, walk barefoot in dew on the grass and listen to the sounds of the sea and the forest noises.
Even in rainy day you can dine on the balcony listening to the rain on the roof, watching the eaves dripping water and breathing the cleanest air and admire the fragrant forest, rain - washed colors of nature.
Or you could wake up very early and drive about 10 minutes to Viru bog, clime to the tower and enjoy wonderful sunrise on clear or shadow morning.
You can spend days in garden hammock reading or meditating or just doing nothing. Take a bike and go explore the surroundings.Visit about 30 min. drive radius located beautiful fishing villages, manors, museums or churches. Pick berries and mushrooms.
But you can also take a 2 min. walk to our fabulous long sandy beach, which are very rare in Lahemaa, and expose yourself to sun between wild rose bushes and listen to the waves churning or enjoy swans often floating here.
In the evenings you can admire the beautiful sunsets on the empty beach, rarely meet any walker.
Estonian mainland northernmost point of Cape Purekkari is located 9 km from our cottage.
The neighboring village of Viinistu (11km) you will find a restaurant and Art Gallery with very good exposition of Estonian art. If interested you can arrange a journey to the island of Mohni (4,5km)
There are 4 marked hiking trails and 2 bird watching towers on peninsula, photographing rare orchids are found. 2 bogs nearby and huge boulders everywhere.
Here there are lots of places for military enthusiasts, a former Hara harbor and submarines demagnetizing base.
Loksa town stores, drugstore, ATMs and other necessities are 2 - 3 km away from our house.
Access roads are in good condition both by car and bus to enter. Around peninsula will also EuroVelo bicycle paths 1 and 4.
You are welcome to our holiday home for 4 (+2) guests. The house has a sleeping room with sunny balcony, TV, free internet area WiFi, books, journals and table games for rainy days.
The holiday home is equipped with kitchen facilities, so our guests can prepare their own meals. There is also a restroom at the house with a cozy fireplace, shower with hairdryer and towels, WC and wood - fired sauna.
Please notice!
We have great drinking water.
There is no washing machine in the house.
Our WiFi may be slow but most of the time it works nicely with us.
Because the houses are in the woods and by the sea you can meet insects, flies and mosquitoes in the area.
