1920s classic Manly style, light filled, spacious beach retreat with sunny garden.

Morning sun in dining/sunroom and afternoon sun in lounge room & garden.

Ground floor of only 2 apartment duplex.

Newly renovated (2016) character 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms.

All furniture, appliances and hotel quality beds new.

King bed in Main bedroom can split into two King Singles

Cot & High Chair available on request at additional hire charge

Extra hotel quality rollaway bed on request at extra charge

Beach Towels provided

750 metres walk down hill to beaches, wharf & Manly village restaurants/bars. Close to bus/ferry transport. Corner shop 1 min walk.

There is room for surfboards and outside shower is a great way to rinse off after the beach.

Gated off street car park for small to medium size car and free residents permit for additional free on street parking.

Residential area close to all amenities and away from crowds and noise

Getting around

You can walk to all areas in Manly from the apartment. The apartment is up a hill from the main shopping precinct of Manly. Fast and slow ferry boat into Sydney city centre. Taxi and Uber service readily available and taxis rank at bottom of hill. Free Manly ‘hop, skip and jump’ hop on and off bus takes you all around Manly and surrounding areas, departing from multiple stops every 30 minutes.

“Fabulous Manly apartment”

We rented this apartment for 4 nights as a family on our arrival in Australia. It was perfect for us; a home from home. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It is in a good location; about a 15 minute walk to the Manly Wharf and all the restaurants of Manly. However, it’s worth mentioning that the walk to Manly centre is down a fairly steep hill which you then have to walk up again on your return to the house!! It wasn’t a problem for us at all though. We used the Manly Fast Ferry to go straight into Sydney which was really convenient. Robyn was a great host, extremely responsive with answers to queries. She recommended a great restaurant ( Hugo’s) for my son’s birthday. One minor complaint is that there were no free tv channels, only internet tv which we couldn’t get to work for some reason but it wasn’t a big deal for us as we were out sightseeing most of the time. All in all, a fabulous house and a very professional host.

Response from the owner Thanks for the review. I am really glad you enjoyed your stay. Walking home is up a hill about 750 meters. If you don’t want to walk there are a couple of other options to using a car. Frequent public buses go up the hill on Sydney Road (about every 10 mins) where you can walk along Birkley Rd on the flat to the apartment, Or take the free Manly Route bus called ‘hop,skip and jump’ which is less frequent running each 30mins on the hour and 1/2 hour from 7am to 6pm taking you up the hill close to the apartment on Raglan Street (approx 100 meters from apt.) Or a taxi costs approx $7. I will include these details in guest information for reference. Regards Robyn
