“Super will go again” Annual get together that has been to several places on Smith Mtn Lake with this being rated at the top. This was spacious and comfortable with a great screened in porch that had super view of lake and plenty of room to accommodate all of our group. Plenty of dishes and accessories in the kitchen to cook and prepare whatever we wanted. With 5 bedrooms there is lots of sleep spots and privacy. Will go again.

“Acorn Hill” House was very clean and well equipped. Owners were exceptional in assisting us with a very minor issue. Beds were comfortable. House was centrally located, short drive to area attractions. Wish there was a view of the river but the sunrises were beautiful!

“A peaceful place to stay” The cabin was a great place to have as our base camp while exploring the area. Even with the rain, we were able to enjoy the hot tub & sit out on the deck. All we did was bring some food & everything else was available at the cabin. The scenery was beautiful!

“Beutiful cabin,great place for some R” I rented the cabin for the weekend after Christmas as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. It turned out to be a great gift. It was so nice to get some great R&R; after the busy week of Christmas. The cabin was clean and beautiful, we loved it. The town of McConnelsville is about 20 minutes away,we went in for coffee and lunch, and returned later for dinner. We did a little hiking in the woods behind the cabin. I would love to rent the cabin again, maybe in the spring or summer and take my grandkids. Antler Ridge is everything a cabin should be.

“Great Vacation Home” Just went for two days for the kids mid-winter vacation. The place was lovely. It was very clean and well organized. The beautiful wood and great fireplace created a warm charming atmosphere. Great size bedrooms. Mark was just wonderful to deal with. He was flexible and his instructions for the use of everyting was very clear. We had a large group and found it very comfortable. We would highly recommend it.

“Book It!” What a great place, very clean, convenient to many attractions around you, and all the amenities thought of. The layout is nice, the back deck and hot tub were a favorite spot, and the kitchen had everything you could think of, you could've baked a cake if you wanted to. Annette and Mark were very accommodating throughout the trip, were always available, and very thorough and upfront with all information provided about the house and the area. We honestly felt like we had travel planners on our side. Thank you very much, great people! We will be back for sure!

“Perfect Spur of the Moment Getaway” We had a beautiful weekend at the cabin. “Beautiful, clean home in a perfect setting!” My husband, two year old daughter, dog and I just returned from a five night stay at Red Run Cabin. The home, although nothing fancy, was beautiful and well kept. We generally always stay in cabins or condos when we travel and this was by far the cleanest rental we've stayed in. It is located in a quiet, wooded neighborhood, with the lake right across the street with easy "beach" access. Our ten year old nephew who lives in the area and came to visit loved the game room with bumper pool and fooseball. We also made use of the plentiful board games available and watched several of the multitude of older movies to choose from when it was raining. Our family loved grilling out with us (charcoal and propane provided) and roasting smores over the firepit. My husband and I spent every night relaxing in the hot tub after our toddler and dog had settled in for the night. The home does not have air conditioning (which I believe is common for the area) but plenty of fans that allowed us to stay fairly comfortable in the Springtime mid 70's weather. The kitchen was equipped very well, although it may be time to invest in some new knives. John, the owner, was a very kind and patient and you can tell he takes great pride in his rentals. Whenever we come this way again, we will definitely return to Red Run Cabin.

“Wish I could live here!!!” My husband and I stayed here for an extended weekend with our five year old son. We have stayed in numerous cabins throughout the Boone area and this one is by far, the best one yet! The cabin has all of the amentities of a home, just bring your clothes and some food and you're all set! The cabin is very comfy, tastefully decorated and in a perfect location. We were far enough away from Boone to truly relax yet there is a grocery store five minutes away. We grilled out each evening on the wonderful wrap around deck. The sunset view from the deck and hot tub are absolutely amazing! I wish I could experience this every evening! My son fell in love with the hot tub, we could not get him out of there!! We truly appreciate the little things about this cabin. There were fun games, Netflix access (which was great for our son!!), etc. My husband was impressed with the surprise beer he found waiting for us and I enjoyed the complimentary wine :) This is truly a home away from home. I was very sad to leave and we will definitely be back, hopefully very soon :)

“Cabin camp - remote but not too much...” This was perfect for what we were seeking. The cabin is well maintained and is as it was described. The fire ring was a great gathering space and the picnic table was perfect for dinner and breakfast. The interior was nice - definitely a cabin but not too rustic by any means. The access to Moshannon (hiking, canoeing, beach, etc.) was easy and Jackson's Bar & Grill a short drive (Winburne, PA) we had a perfect weekend. Communication with the owner was timely and easy.
