Description

The exquisite Villa Calypso , nestled in a private, peaceful green setting, is situated in a residential and quiet area of Maspalomas. It has a private solar heated swimming pool!

The famous sand dunes and the beaches, the trendy shops of Meloneras, the golf courses and the Yumbo centre, with its nightlife and large selection of bars are a 20 min walk away, but a cab can take you there in a couple of minutes for less than 5 euros. If you would like to discover the inland, wild beaches… we would recommend bike or car hire (decent prices).

There are three double bedrooms (one en-suite with a private entrance from the garden), three bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen (hob, oven, microwave, Fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle, ironing set), a living room (with a double sofa bed). Outside, in the garden, you can find the main terrace with dining table, a solarium terrace and the swimming pool.There is a gamws room downstairs, where you can play pool, table football or just relax. Upstairs you will be able to watch different English or international channels via satellite television.We offer air conditioning in all rooms, WIFI and the safe use at no additional cost.

“Excellent welcome and location but a few niggles”

Booking and welcome were easy and pleasant. Pedro welcomes us to the villa and showed us around. He had also provided a few basics as a welcome pack since due to the strange UK flight the times we didn’t arrive until after nine. The pool an outside surrounds are well maintained and pleasant to use. The interior is a strange layout with half of the subterranean rooms under the adjoining property. This is not a problem just a little weird. On the plus side the underground games room has probably the best pool table we have had in a villa. Wi-fi is good but a bit erratic. Good enough to watch SKY Go. Now the niggles. Some of the interior wiring looks unsafe but did not cause any problems. The air conditioning in the games room is not functioning. We did not use either of the televisions so cannot comment.

We had great time. All the amenties provide wonderfull experience. You can spend your time in villa active but also always find a quiet spot to relax and take a minute under sunshines!
