“Nestled in a sleepy beach town village is Casa de la Playa in Melaque in the Mexican Pacific, a 70s retro style bungalow, with spacious 3 bedroom accommodation, two bathrooms, kitchen dining room and a terrace where you will be spending a good segment of your holiday reading a book in a hammock or chatting with friends while enjoying a cool drink.
Casa de la Playa offers a glimpse in to a Mexico that is hard to find through a big chain hotel or an over fussy boutique operation, away from the usual hordes of tourists you blend in with the locals at the market ordering a freshly squeezed orange juice and ranchero eggs made to taste for breakfast.
For lunch catch a boat to an Island to have an amazing red snapper cooked on an open fire or stay in and have Mexican deviled shrimp at a giant palapa restaurant by the sea.
Bask in the sun or explore near by villages with a rich market life and High street offers, swim in the sea, boogie board, and when night falls walk over to the plaza where improvised stalls offer some of the most succulent local fare from the staple Mexican tacos to the traditional churros.
