Description

Our top-floor apartment has a large balcony overlooking gardens and two swimming pools, plus an extra-large dual-aspect terrace with views across to the golf course as well as the garden and swimming pools. We provide free Wi-Fi Internet access and cable TV with English channels. There is parking immediately outside the apartment, plus the apartment has an allocated underground car parking space opposite the lift which takes you directly to the apartment.

The apartment has air-conditioning plus radiator central heating throughout, so is comfortable all year round. There is a well-appointed kitchen with ceramic hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, and a good selection of pots, pans, cutlery, cooking utensils, crockery and glassware. Off the kitchen is a laundry area with washing machine, iron & ironing board and drying rack. There is clothes line for drying on the terrace.

The bathroom has a wc, bidet and full bath with shower over. Hairdryer provided.

La Torre Golf resort offers tennis courts, padel tennis, outdoor gym equipment, swimming pools, bicycle hire and an amazing golf course, with a further six courses within a short drive. It has a resort centre with restaurants, bars and beauty salon, plus an ATM. There is also a 5* Hotel onsite with restaurant and further facilities.

La Torre is a 20 minutes' drive from the Mar Menor with its beaches, promenades, and opportunities for sailing, diving, water-skiing and other water sports. The nearest village is Roldan which is a short drive away, and has a great selection of bars and restaurants.

The resort is in a lovely rural fruit and salad growing area, and centrally placed just 20 minutes from Murcia city and 30 minutes from the ancient port of Cartagena The region of Murcia has an abundance of archaeological treasures, historic sites, museums, art and music exhibitions, and picturesque villages. Within short drives you can find local festivals and fiestas, water-parks and zoos. It's also a lovely drive up into the mountains, offering walking, quad-biking, cycling and horse-trekking opportunities. This area really does offer something for everyone - no matter what time of year!

Getting around

To take advantage of the local area, we recommend hiring a car. But many of our guests are happy to remain within La Torre as there is everything you need onsite.

Interaction with guest

All guests are met at the entrance to the resort during the day by our on-site managers, and taken to the apartment and shown around. There is also provision for key access for late evening and overnight arrival, with our local manager checking in with guests the following morning. All guests are provided with apartment address, and contact details of our onsite managers, as well as details of the apartment owner. Please Note there is an additional local charge, currently €75, payable on arrival which covers key handover, laundry and apartment preparation.

House rules

The apartment terrace is on the third floor and has low barriers. Parents and supervising adults should be aware that toddlers and young children should be supervised to avoid the risk of them climbing over the barriers. We regret that due to the risk of flying embers and damage to the tiles, barbecues are not allowed on the terrace and balcony.

“1st class all the way!”

We were looking to book last minute and could not have landed any luckier! Professional and friendly service from both owners and local agents. “A very comfortable and relaxing week”

We had a very relaxing week and it was nice to be able to sit outside on the terrace for a bit of warm winter sunshine. We did not leave the resort all week and found plenty of places to eat and a well stocked and inexpensive supermarket all within a five minutes walk from the apartment. The apartment was spotlessly clean, fully equipped and furnished to a very high standard. For someone wishing to explore the region a hire car would be essential but as we were there just to read and "chill out" we arranged to be met and returned to the local airport. I would unhesitatingly recommend this apartment to friends and family. We enjoyed it so much that we have booked the owners other apartment at La Manga during October.

“If Carlsberg done Penthouses in La Torre......!”

Booked Ann's penthouse for 4 weeks in July and was not disappointed. Argueably the best location in La Torre - close to all amenities such as supermarket, clubhouse, town centre (restaurants and bars) and 2 well kept pools. Ann's pre holiday correspondence was both informative and well timetabled. The apartment itself was in very good order. It contained everything that you would expect and indeed needed to enjoy a home from home holiday. Beds were very comfortable and all linen was in good order. The extra patio space was useful for drying any laundry. The importance of air conditioning units in the living room and each of the 2 bedrooms should not be undervalued. The free wifi a must in this day and age! All in all an extremely good choice of apartment and would recommend.
