Luxury villa with private pool in Nerja centre

Imagine: step out the door, turn left, walk 80 metres and... lay down on the beach! Alternatively, you may also sit down at a terrace for a cold sangria! It's all possible: this wonderful villa is located in calle Carabeo, in the very heart of Nerja. You will have your own private pool with a sun terrace while enjoying magnificent views out to the beach and the Mediterranean.

Location and outside area

No rental car needed at this villa: it's only a 2 minute walk to restaurants, shops, tapas bars, and the beaches such as playa Carabeillo and playa Carabeo. Still the house does have its own private parking. In case you prefer to visit the highlights of Andalusia without driving then you can book a guided excursion or take public transport at the bus station only 800 m away. The villa is provided with a spacious terrace with sun loungers and private pool (6x8 m) and a smaller cocktail pool (You may ask what a cocktail pool is? Well, a cocktail pool is simply a pool providing the perfect place to lounge and have a cocktail or two.) A large sun screen covers the dining area making it a perfect spot to enjoy a lunch in the shade; a barbecue and patio furniture are provided. A few steps down from the sun terrace you will find a garden with lawn and exceptional views to the beach below. At the end of the garden there is a lovely chill-out area with garden chairs with ocean views to the Balcón de Europa.

For families with children it will be good to know that there is also a shared pool (visible on one of the pictures) where the kids can make new friends. On the first floor is another sun terrace with the same splendid sea views, only accessible through the double bedroom.

Notes:

* The City Council of Nerja has the intention to cut Carabeo Street with a poller in the near future. At this moment we do not know if the street, and thus the parking, will be accessible for the guests, since there is a lack of information on the part of the City Council. The community of property owners is claiming that access will be granted but it is soon to know if this will be solved in a positive way. In case access to the parking of the villa finally would not be possible, then we nor the property owner can not be held responsible. Should this happen, then you can park your car at "Parking Carabeo", a very large parking lot just behind Calle Carabeo, at 3 minutes walk. There is a special price for 7 days (please ask us for approximate prices).

* In the second week of October, lasting from 4 to 5 days, you will be able to attend the Feria de Nerja (Nerja fair). For the duration of the fair, the fairgrounds in the centre of Nerja are covered in rows of casetas (individual decorated marquee tents which are temporarily built on the fairground). During the fair, you will find people (many ladies and some men in traditional flamenco outfit arriving on horse) partying and dancing "Sevillanas", drinking Jerez sherry, or manzanilla wine, and eating tapas. So, this is an attractive event, but it also has to consequences that may not be so attractive: The private parking next to the villa will not be available from a few days days before and during the fair because the calle Carabeo will not be accessible. If you bring a car, you can try to find a spot in the surroundings or we can offer you a free parking at Marina Turquesa apartments (at 1,5 km from the villa). You may suffer nuisance from the noise of fair (music etc). We estimate this will not affect you very much as the villa is at a prudent distance from the area, but we are not able to guarantee anything.

Inside and lay-out

The villa is built on two floors and comfortably furnished with good taste and marble floors. On the ground floor is a luminous living room with large size LCD-TV with DVD and satellite reception. From the living room you have sea views and direct access to the sun terrace. The living room is connected to a dining-corner equipped with an open fire place and to an open space kitchen furnished with a ceramic hob, dishwasher, oven, microwave, and fridge/freezer. The washing machine is located in the laundry room where you will also find an iron and ironing board. On the ground floor you will find a shower room (with WC and washbasin) and a twin bedroom with direct access to the sun terrace and marvellous ocean views.

On the first floor there is a spacious master bedroom with a large walk-in wardrobe and a double bed. The ensuite bathroom is equipped with an over bath shower (with views to the Balcón de Europa!), WC, and basin. The third bedroom is provided with a double bed, a large LCD-TV, and a spacious private sun terrace with sea views. A bathroom with a double-sized bath, shower, WC, and 2 washbasins corresponds to this bedroom. The fourth bedroom is a twin that makes use of the fourth bathroom, fully equipped with over bath shower, WC, and basin.
