Description

The apartment is part of a private gated development with lots of character. It was built by Norwegians in the 1970's and has its own gourmet restaurant, swimming pool and convenience store. The apartment itself has a lovely 'home away from home' atmosphere and features a well equipped kitchen with full cooker, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge; a spacious walk-in shower, and comfortable lounge furniture and bed. The terrace overlooks Arguineguin harbour with views of the Anfi resort and the Patalavaca hillsides.

“A Nice break in Patalavaca”

Being two elderly people going for a quiet break this location was ideal. The only problem we had, was the hill we had to climb to get to and from it. At 76 years old it was hard work when we got down the hill we made sure to stay down till bed time. On some days we would decide not to go down at all just sit in the small garden and have a quiet day. The apartment was rather small but fine for two of us. Very tastefully decorated. The small shop on the complex was ideal for our needs. The Sun shone on the garden patio from about 1pm till Sunset. It is the first time we have been to Gran Canaria, We travelled by public transport to other parts of the Island and found it all rather hilly being reasonably fit for our age it was still hard work at times. However when we got down to the coast the place was lovely and the walks along the coast nice and flat, If we visit again we would try to find some were lower down near the coast. All the same we had a very enjoyable time.
