Description
Casa 17b is a 2 bedroom villa (King & Twin) in an ideal position on Casas del Sol, one of Playa Blanca's most prestigious complexes, with its elevated shielded south-facing position offering panoramic and sea views.
Casas del Sol is a beautifully maintained and peaceful complex and is highly sought after due to it's prime location being only a few minutes' walk to the town centre, beaches, port & harbour, promenade, bus station, etc. As all you need is virtually on your doorstep hiring a car is not a necessity.
The complex is surrounded by well maintained mature tropical gardens and has a small network of pathways. As well as excellent facilities including a lovely solar-heated salt water pool (with resident lifeguard), tennis & boules courts the reception area (also incorporating a small shop and guest lounge) is manned by very helpful multi-lingual staff.
A well equipped villa with air conditioning (no extra charge) which can also be used as a heater on cooler winter nights. The rental cost per night is based on 2 people sharing, additional guests stay for just an extra £7 per person per night and children under 2 stay for free. A small housekeeping surcharge is passed on for stays of less than 7 nights. We will happily arrange Cot & High Chair hire via reception.
Live & On-Demand TV, Movies & Dramas are streamed to our Fire TV Stick 4K via the free Wi-Fi, you can also connect your own devices to the tv via the HDMI & USB ports.

“Convenient location.”
Functional, clean, in a good location. Kitchen area acceptably equipped. Lounge area seating basic and uncomfortable. No cooling or heating available here. Bedroom 2 locked - presumed to reduce cleaning as only 2 persons staying. Bedroom 1 - 2 good single beds, mattresses firm (good point) plenty of hanging space. Dressing table and hairdryer. Safe available. Bathroom step in tub shower with plastic curtain ( hate curtains always seem to stick to you). Towels too thin and quite small. No extractor fan and no window. Only source of heat (several very cold mornings and evenings cool down quickly) the aircondioning unit in bedroom 1 which did not function hot or cold Owner aware. Technician came late Thursday it now works as a fan not sure re hot or cold. Casita Noisy at times due to work on 17d ( 2 properties away) also in the port area with cutting of steel etc. Patio area compact and equipped with 2 of everything. Necessary to move furniture during the day if you want a shady spot. Have concern about steps from urbanisation pathway up to the casita patio. They are steep and When wet a bit slippy. A handrail would be an improvement. Also would see these as a hazardous area for young children to fall down into from casita patio. The wash machine in outside cupboard is efficient. Barbecue (charcoal type) not used, but looks fine. WIFI inoperative for 24 hours or so. Quite slow connection. If you will arrive after dark bring a torch. Overall a nice property which for the rental cost is acceptable.
