THIS VILLA has been owned by Paul and Christine Collins since the year 1995 and we put in considerable effort us to ensure that it is maintained to the highest possible standard. As owners we are familiar with every aspect of the accommodation, down to even the most minute detail.

You are therefore able to book this villa with us, safe in the knowledge that the information you have been given is totally accurate and that it is in the 'premier league' of accommodation available in Playa Blanca.

Casas Del Sol is a development of villas set in beautiful mature gardens opposite the harbour in Playa Blanca. The complex is mainly traffic free having a car park at the entrance but allowing access to the villas for luggage drop off and pick up.

Part of the complex is on the flat and part is on a gentle incline which provides some of the properties with good views. A solar heated swimming pool and children’s pool form the centre of this development with sun beds and shade by the pool, there is also an outdoor shower & toilets for your use. The reception office is staffed by helpful, friendly people who are ready to assist you 7 days a week until 10pm so late arrivals are always catered for plus there is also a small store for essential groceries also open late. A tennis court to the rear of the complex adds to the amenities to be enjoyed on this site.

The atmosphere on this complex is very laid back, friendly and cosmopolitan making this perfect for a relaxing holiday. The location is excellent as it is very central being opposite the harbour and only a few minutes walk away from the beaches, shops and restaurants and all the main amenities of Playa Blanca.

If you like being closer to the pool but without being splashed then this is an ideally located villa for you. It is on the flat and about 50 meters from the pool and 100 meters from the reception building.

The villa consists of 1 double bedroom (with king size bed), 1 twin bedroom, 1 bunk bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 shower room en-suite. The main bedrooms have recently been refurbished with new furniture and beds which provide much storage and comfort. Mosquito nets & security are fitted to all opening windows. There are air conditioning/heating units in both the main bedrooms which work on a pay as you use basis, a fan in the bunk room and a portable heater is provided for the winter months if needed.

Bath and hand towels for use within the villa are provided and changed regularly if you need pool/beach towels they can be hired from us.

The kitchen has an oven/ hob, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, kettle, toaster etc. and fitted granite work surfaces.

A safe, hairdryer, washing machine live TV and Netflix are also provided for your convenience and entertainment.

The terrace is large and has sun loungers and dining furniture, a covered pergola for shade and a robust parasol and a barbecue.

Free wi-fi is available in the villa and the complex reception building.

This villa is registered with Casas del Sol SL, the sole letting agent for the complex of Casas del Sol and all enquiries/bookings are the responsibility of this agent.

Getting around

A hire car is the most convenient way of getting around the island but excursions can be arranged at reception. Buses to Arrecife or Puerto del Carmen and a circulating bus around the resort stop very close by. Reception will always call you a taxi if you need one. All the facilities of the resort are within walking distance so no need to hire a car unless you want to explore.

We will send you useful information for your holiday by email before you go. Check in is at Casas del Sol reception where you will be given villa keys. Any snags, or situations that occur with the house whilst you are there will be dealt with by reception.

“Great stay in Villa 1A”

Stayed in villa 1A for 2 weeks over the Easter holidays and had a fantastic time. The complex is in perfect location taking only 2-3 minutes to the start of the restaurants and bars along the seafront towards flamingo beach, taking around 7minutes to get to the actual beach. The complex has a heated pool which on average was heated to around 27/28 degrees, a couple of days when it was windy it was too cold for us to get in but we mostly got in it every day. The villa is slightly more basic than what we are used to and slightly on the small side for 6 people but it has everything you need and is a great little villa. I would just say my only criticism would be that the 3rd rooms bunk bed was extremely squeaky and did get very warm due to no air con so the only thing I would love to see if I was to return would be a better bunk bed and possibly air con in the room. Villa would be more suited to maybe 4 people not 6. Overall we had a fantastic holiday.

“Lovely Resort & Villa”

Very impressed with resort and villa. Stayed in Villa 1A which was close to clean and heated pool with lifeguard. The good size villa was very modern and clean and well equipped with excellent Wi-Fi. Well situated for harbour and promenade and shops. Spar Supermarket close by. Resort staff were so welcoming and helpful and always smiling - nothing was too much trouble for them.

This villa is superbly situated close to a local Spar and an Irish pub to the right and the Playa Blanca Strip area to the left....all within walking distance. I could not fault the villa itself. It had everything from wi-fi to plenty of towels and every self catering equipment you could possibly need for a family of 2 adults and 4 kids under 10. The owner was very helpful and friendly when he popped by the villa. The complex itself is in pristine condition and the staff on the grounds of the complex and the reception are beyond friendly and helpful. The beautiful shrubs and flowers in the outside area of the villa and around the complex added beautiful colour to the volcanic Lanzarote landscape. A highly enjoyable experience to say the least.

““A fabulous Villa”!”

This villa is set in a fantastic location within the resort.It offers very easy access to the Seafront & restaurants. You are made to feel very welcome from arrival to departure and helped with any questions that you may have. The villa is located within close proximity to the pool with a spacious patio & BBQ area to enjoy outdoor dining. It is well equipped with everything that you would need for a comfortable stay. Can’t wait to return !!

“Perfect stay”

We stayed at this villa for 4 weeks from the start of October. Villa was excellent, everything you could need for a holiday accommodation. Very comfortable with plenty of space. We've stayed many times at Casas del Sol, it's in a perfect position for shops, restaurants and it's within walking distance of two of the beaches. The pool area never seems to get too crowded either.

“clean well kept and quiet”

This was our 2nd visit to casas del sol and villa 1a (v4 on lanzarote first website). It was clean and fresh and well appointed.It has a lovely fairly secluded garden and although near the road there was no great noise and you cannot see the passing vehicles. The complex is kept in pristine condition, both the garden and pool areas are pleasant and quiet. I would love to return, which I would not do if I had not been happy there.

It took us a couple of years to find Casas del Sol, which is much superior to the other places we had tried. It took us another couple of years to find Villa 1A which is the best of the best. I use 1A because that's the number on the door but in some literature it's V4 --- don't know why but it's the same place. The complex is as described above, being maintained to a very high standard by extremely helpful & friendly people. 1A is on the flat section of Casas del Sol so no hills to climb & close to Reception & the lovely pool. It is closer to the road than some but far enough away not to be a problem. The villa is beautifully decorated & fitted with good quality furniture & a fully equipped kitchen. The TV receives UK Freeview channels. We stay for 4 weeks each year so the automatic washing machine is a great help keeping luggage weight to a minimum (apart from my wife's 20 pairs of shoes).
