Description
THIS VILLA has been owned by Paul and Christine Collins since the year 1995 and we put in considerable effort us to ensure that it is maintained to the highest possible standard. As owners we are familiar with every aspect of the accommodation, down to even the most minute detail.
You are therefore able to book this villa with us, safe in the knowledge that the information you have been given is totally accurate and that it is in the 'premier league' of accommodation available in Playa Blanca.
The villa is located in a prime residential area situated in an elevated position approximately 15 minutes walk from the Playa Flamingo beach, where there are a variety of shops and restaurants but there is also a supermarket nearby within a 5 minute walk. This is a unique opportunity to stay in a lovely home with a large private pool and unrivalled views over Playa Blanca, Los Lobos and Fuerteventura. We recommend a car in this location but it isn’t essential if you enjoy a walk or there is a bus which circulates Playa Blanca and stops within 5 minutes walk of the villa.
The villa is modern, stylish and comfortable, the whole design of this property has been to take the best advantage of the spectacular view. The accommodation comprises of 3 double bedrooms: 1 with king size bed, 2 with twin beds, 2 bathrooms: 1 en-suite to master bedroom, 1 next door to a twin bedroom. The en-suite bathroom has a w.c., walk-in shower, wash basin. The 2nd bathroom has a bath, shower, wash basin, and w.c. The lounge has a large picture window looking onto the terrace and views over Playa Blanca and across the sea to Fuerteventura and Los Lobos. There is a door from the lounge onto the terrace and pool area. Sun loungers and parasol plus dining furniture are situated on the terrace. The main entrance to the house is at the rear into a small vestibule. From the lounge there is an archway into the dining room which is circular and again has the same wonderful views. The dining room leads into the kitchen which is completely fitted with separate oven/hob, microwave oven, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A large flat screen TV with live TV and Netflix is provided for your entertainment. Free wi-fi is available in the villa. Mosquito nets are fitted to all opening windows. There are air conditioning/heating units in all bedrooms + a portable electric radiator is provided if heating is needed in winter months. Air conditioning units work on a pay as you use basis. We recommend that you use the fitted safe for valuables, a hairdryer and iron are provided.
Bed linen, bath and hand towels for use within the villa are provided but pool and beach towels are not provided as standard but they can be hired from us if needed.
The kitchen door leads out onto a covered dining area on the terrace which is very convenient and comfortable with the view being the back drop, it is well lit and very pretty at night, ideal for barbecues.
The approximate pool dimensions are as follows: Length 8.8m, Width 5.2m, Depth 1.2m-1.6m., this is a large size for a private pool. It is an attractive figure of eight shape with roman steps i.e. not a ladder, into the pool

“Excellent experience”
Great villa with outstanding views, perfect area for a nice relaxing holiday, very peaceful area. Lovely outside space around the pool, great steps both end of pool( would benefit if at one end there was a hand rail installed) for added safety getting into the pool, I would definitely return at some point.

“Fantastic- all we could have needed with a fantastic view”
We booked this villa for two weeks and visited as a family of four (2 adults, 2 children aged 2 and 6). We also booked our car through the owners and found the correspondence seamless. The villa was perfectly equipped, clean and spacious. The pool was a real hit with the children who were in it at every opportunity: the steps in gave our 2- year old independence to get in and out by herself or simply play in the shallows if she wanted to. The temperature of the pool was great and was definitely one of the best temperatures, and size, for any private pool we have had. The outside space was ideal and the view across to Fuerteventura was the icing on the cake (one evening we watched distant fireworks from our terrace). The residential area this villa is set in is quiet and clean. As we had a car, we were able to get out and explore the island and as regular visitors to Lanzarote really felt like we were at our home-from-home. The nearby Flamingo beach is one of our favourites as is what we call ‘Fred’s beach’ near the small port- the children love experiencing the waves created by the Armas and Fred Olsen ferries as they arrive and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes should you wish to dine away from the villa. We shopped at the Lidl near the airport when we first arrived and then did top-up shops at the supermarkets in Playa Blanca during our stay. One thing we did this holiday was to take a fold-up scooter for each of our children which allowed us to walk further than we could have done usually with little legs and freed us from having to take a pushchair with us. The villa was visited by pool maintenance regularly during our stay and the cleanliness, water level and water treatment was carefully monitored. Towel and bedding changes also occurred at regular intervals. There is nothing at all we can fault with Villa V1 and we hope to return soon.

“Excellent villa - highly recommended”
We've stayed at Talessa V1 quite a few times now and are very glad we found it. The standards of presentation and cleanliness are consistently excellent. The villa is very well-equipped, not just with the basics but with lots of additional touches so that it feels like a home rather than a rental. We like the combination of peace and quiet, tremendous views and being only a short car ride (or pleasant walk) from town. All of the arrangements including booking and arrival are very smooth and Christine and Paul respond very quickly to availability requests. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the villa to others and are looking forward to our next trip.

“Holiday villa”

“Amazing villa”
This was our first stay at this villa and we will definitely return. The villa has all the amenities you need, a really well equipped kitchen and a huge walk-in shower in the master bedroom en-suite. There are the most amazing views and a gorgeous heated pool in the secluded outdoor patio area which we made good use of. There are a number of restaurants nearby which we walked to and then we would pop in for a cocktail at one of the hotels on the way home, perfect!

“Amazing place with terrific views”
Being an owner of 2 villas elsewhere I tried this villa because I have only been to Lanzarote once before and that was great. This villa had it all, great layout , not overwhelmed with furniture, lovely pool which was most days 29 degrees. The villa is situated in a very nice , quiet and respectable location, there are no dogs barking, no all night parties and most in this location are residents. If you want a fully chilled out relaxing break with great views and easy walks to the town this is for you. From one owner of villas to another = great job, great pool staff, cleaners and towel supplier.
