Description
The villa has been completed to an extremely high standard. It occupies two floors, on the ground floor is a very spacious hallway, two twin bedrooms , a marble bathroom with shower, a kitchen which includes all of the normal appliances plus a dishwasher, a utility room with a washing machine, la spacious lounge containing two leather settees, a fantastic outside dining area (Brai) with seating for 8 people, which is open to the Southerly aspect for Al Fresco dining, and its own luxury kidney shaped pool, surrounded by terracotta tiles and enclosed in a very private and secluded walled garden and stone built BBQ. Upstairs is the master bedroom suite with its own dressing area, en-suite marble bathroom with separate shower and large private sun terrace.
This villa is located within 50 metres of a rocky shoreline and local shops and restaurants are only a 3 min walk away. Villa del dos Hijos is ideal for families who want the best of both worlds, it enjoys a tranquility not found in tourist areas yet is only 3km from the centre of Playa Blanca, this villa will provide you with a wonderful base for a dream holiday.

The fully fitted kitchen faces the front of the villa and is accessed via an archway from the hallway. The facilities include electric oven with spit roaster, ceramic hob, extractor fan, microwave oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and plenty of utensils, saucepans, cutlery, crockery and plastic glasses.
There is a door from the kitchen into the Al Fresco dining area with stone built BBQ.
There is also a utility room containing a washing machine and a large storeroom.
The lounge has two luxury brown leather settees and full length cream curtains piped with red beads. This is accessed from the archway in the hall and by the large French doors to the terrace. There is a window that opens onto the dining area, and a large arched opening to the kitchen.
We have Sky TV and the Television has a built in DVD/CD player.
We now also have a chipped PS2 and Xbox for you entertainment.
The villa has three bedrooms. The master suite occupies the whole second floor of the Villa and comprises a large bedroom with double bed, a dressing area with double wardrobes and a marble en-suite bathroom with separate walk in shower, bath, toilet, bidet and hand basin.
There are full width patio doors leading to the upstairs terrace which measures approximately 5 metres square. This area is not overlooked and boasts two wicker chairs and a wooden table making it the perfect place for your early morning coffee, an hours peaceful reading, or a glass of wine in the evening.
Each of the downstairs bedrooms have twin beds, fitted twin wardrobes and a bedside cabinet with drawers.
Each room has a main room light and reading lights over the beds with separate controls. Both bedrooms have windows overlooking the pool, garden and terrace.
We also supply a cot and highchair for infants.

The dining area is open to the terrace providing an "Al Fresco" atmosphere. This is the perfect place to spend the evening dining formally, the Lanzarote way, or just whiling away the evening with a glass of wine. There is fixed seating for 6 people with comfortable cushions and a large solid wood table. There are also luxury patio furniture for 6 people, one 3 seat sofa and 3 single chairs(all with padded cushions) We also supply a highchair for infants.
The heated pool is clearly a major advantage to this Villa, it measures approx 8 metres by 4 metres and is 1.8 metres deep in the centre. Access to the pool is via central Roman steps. There is a solar pool cover which is manual and easy to operate. This helps heat the water and should be in place at all times when the pool is not in use and especially at night. The cover will increase the water temperature by as much as 10 degrees! Plastic glasses are provided for use around the pool.
The pool is professionally cleaned and treated once a week to maintain the correct chemical balance. The chemical balance of the water is analyzed at an international standard laboratory every month to ensure the water is always in tip top condition.
There are six sun beds provided for use on the terrace around the pool, these all have quality fabric cushioning to provide additional comfort.
The pool is surrounded by an spacious well maintained garden.

“Great Villa, very tranquil but near local facilities.”
The Villa is spacious with good indoor and outdoor accommodation with southerly aspect. The pool is ideal for cooling off and is surrounded by terrace for sunbathing. Welcome shade is provided to an comfortable outdoor sitting area and Dining zone - idea for the occasional BBQ. All bedrooms, living space and bathrooms are a good size with great facilities (and very dependable Wifi / Internet).The master suite is large with generous dressing area and very private balcony with views. The Ocean is only a short walk away where there is a walkway along the rocky coastline. Local tracks extend for miles and are ideal for running or mountain biking. We liked being able to walk to local restaurants and shops but would recommend a car for seeing the wider island. Gusto was a particular favourite and we also made a few visits to Marina Rubicon, which is much quieter than Playa Blanca as a centre, with a good choice of tapas bars, restaurants and shops overlooking the marina. Martin B is an attentive host who was easy to reach at all times. His local representatives are also very responsive and keep the property is good order.

“Fabulous villa”
We absolutely loved our stay here for a week in may , it was my father in law's first time abroad and this beautiful villa was perfect for us , the area was great , the local shops and restaurants were just round the corner and they had everything you needed , one we downside from our week was the neighbor next door was having building work all week and was noisy from 8 am , but I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone ,

“Family Holiday”
When we arrived we were flabbergasted by how attractive and clean the appartment was. We found that there was ample room for us all. The pool was amazingly warm. We have never stayed in a villa before and now we are hooked. The shop just down the road was very helpful in a number of ways. On our first shop we had 2 trolleys full of food. They helped us pack into reusable crates and even took it to our car. Another time they called a taxi for us to go into town. Very kind! Our favourite restaurant was Port of Call. The fish and steak is very very good. Our parents thoroughly enjoyed it and just the right amount of walking for them to the restaurants as they don't walk that good. We never cooked but there seemed to be everthing you needed. The beds are very comfortable and mom finds it hard to sleep but she slept best there. We would recommend to our friends and family. Thank you to Graham who cleaned the pool and showed us how to use the tv to its fullest. Martin the owner was very helpful too! Ps there was a ginger cat that paid us a visit most mornings.

“very quiet”
Villa very clean and very peaceful. This is second time in this villa and would be booking a third time but our dates have already been booked by someone else but we will be back when possible.
