Description
Just 10 minutes from Potsdam and close to Berlin you can enjoy the beautyful landscape around the old village Caputh. Try sailing on Lake Schwielowsee as Albert Einstein did when he lived here for a few years in his famous Summerhouse. Einsteins house is open for visitors and almost next door to your holiday appartement in our modern wooden house.
With the forest behind, its very quite and peacefull, and you can relax in the garden or the heated pool. We have a sandy playground to use together with our children.
The appartement is designed by the architect, that lives in the same house. Wooden Floors, a cosy bathroom with bathtube for two, and a large panoramic window into the ZEN- garden will make your holiday comfortable. The appartement is situated at the garden level and has its own entrance and sunny terrace.
In just 5 minutes walking distance you will find sandy beaches at the Strandbad, and different types of boats and bicycles for rent. There is a waterski -and wakeboard school, fishing possibilities, Golfplatz and the Flaming- Skate within 20 minute driving. And the large forest to do walking or bicycle excursions.
Caputh is nice in autumn and winter too. We have a sauna on the roof terrace (extra payment required). When the lakes are frozen, you can go ice-skating or ice- sailing. A Loipe for skiing starts just behind the house.
