Description

A sunny courtyard welcomes you on entering, with hallways leading either to a stone arched dining room, to a modern equipped kitchen with sunny herb yard, or to the lounge area with patio doors on to a spacious, sunny pool deck with large pool and bar-be-que area. Also at this level are 2 bedrooms, one with en suite bathroom and one with a separate shower/lavatory. Another bedroom also with en suite bathroom, terraces and views are at first floor. All in tasteful Mediterranean decor.

Spacious, full of character with tasteful Mediterranean décor throughout plus all modern age commodities being set in the country side but minutes away from all amenities, shops and beaches one can truly relax and enjoy the best of two worlds.

Marsalforn Bay is the closest beach being only 15 min away. This is a popular fishing village with wonderful beaches and some of the best restaurants on the island where you can wine and dine by candle light under the clear Mediterranean sky literally inches away from the sea.

“Nice spacious farmhouse”

Large farmhouse with decent size swimming pool. The bedrooms were spacious and pretty cool at night, while outside had a nice mix of sunny and shaded areas. Very enjoyable stay.

“Lovely place in a surprising country”

We travelled to Gozo few weeks ago for the first time. The country did not fulfill our expentancies and, despite I consider it was worth visiting, we do not plan to travel back again. The houses where we stood (in Munxar and Zebbug) were wonderful, especially Ta'Giannmarie where we spent the last week. When staying there is like being in a oasis, living in the past. The swimming-pool it's big enough for a numerous family like ours and actually useful with that warm weather! The only but, would be that the house may need to be cleaned more frequently than once a week. Jeff and his wife took care of us from the first to the last day. If you ever visit Gozo, these two farmhouses are a very good chance the have peaceful holydays. Enjoy!

“Gozo is a wonderfully relaxing getaway”

Ta Giannmarie was the perfect size for us. We were family of 4 (son 9 and daughter 16) with my sister and her husband and my Mum. The property meant that we could still have our own space as there are terraces to escape to. The pool area was our sociable place. The pool was a perfect size to allow my Mum to sit on the steps and enjoy the silliness without being part of it. We enjoyed lots of silliness in the pool. The pool went into shade after lunch so even better for hanging out in and not getting burnt. The location was great too as we were able to snorkel at the very next bay( mins away) and then the bay after that and Marsalforn too. We went to these beachy places at about 4pm. Lots of nice eating places nearby and you did not have to go to the expensive places to get good food. Pizza stop on top of next bay was great value and food good. Jeff and Mariella are lovely hosts. The cleaner is a friendly and helpful lady too. The people of Gozo seemed laid back and happy to see us there. I believe we will go again.

“Lovely private honeymoon rental”

We had a lovely time at Ta' Giannmarie on our honeymoon - we needed somewhere we could properly relax and this was the perfect place. It's very easy to get around and Jeff and Mariela were very helpful. We were a bit wimpy about the pool temperature in April but I can imagine it would be just right in the summer!

How do damage deposits work?
