This beautiful stone farm cottage is very special set in a unique peaceful location in surroundings of breathtaking natural beauty yet just 3 kms from the picturesque “white” village of Casares and a short drive to the beaches and towns of the Mediterranean coast.

The cottage is in a glorious 12-acre farm eco- estate with lush forests of cork oak ,scented pines and chestnuts, wild flower meadows, delightful gardens and a lovely private swimming pool where you may laze on sunny afternoons enjoying pristine blue skies with eagles gliding overhead.

There are great walks straight out the front gate into the Natural Park where you may glimpse a deer or an ibex and so many varieties of birds it's impossible to list them all.

The scenery is truly spectacular with sea views to Gibraltar and Morocco from parts of the estate.

And while this enchanting mountain retreat offers peace and tranquillity in surroundings of great natural beauty, lively coastal towns such as Estepona and Marbella are just a short drive away.

The cottage really offers the best of both worlds.

The beautiful "white village" of Casares , just a 3km drive away down a mountain track has many restaurants and shops. The legendary towns of Ronda, Granada and Seville can all be reached as a day trip, by scenic train if you wish.

Casares is also ideally - situated as the starting point for exploring the other picturesque "white villages" of the Serrania de Ronda and its breathtaking landscapes.

Beaches and golf courses are a 25-minute drive as are the supermarkets of Sabinillas.

This is a recently - restored farm cottage incorporating many features such as a lovely stained glass window and a beamed ceiling. Designed as a romantic and stylish retreat for couples, it boasts a king-size double bed and handsome furnishings in the spacious open plan living/sleeping suite. A wooden panelled door to the right leads to a vibrantly - coloured bathroom with hand – painted Andalucian tiles. While to your left there is a well equipped compact kitchen.

A flower festooned private patio equipped with teak sun beds, has stunning mountain views. The cottage has TV / Video, a music centre, and basic equipment such as iron, ironing board and a barbecue. Air conditioning.Laundry facilities are available.

Response from the owner Hi Gail. I'm kinda surprised by your review as while you were here you said it was a lovely peaceful place and you were enjoying yourself. I'm really quite upset that you think that we don't put a lot of love and care into the place. We most certainly do. After welcoming you when you arrived, I did say if you needed anything just to ask. You never mentioned anything while you were here.We'd have been happy to help with anything at all. You talk about money in your review. We charge a very reasonable rate for a stylish comfortable cottage with its own private pool in a Natural Park. We aren't aiming to be luxury and in fact most of our Guests don't want that or to pay higher prices. They come to experience stunningly beautiful nature , peace and the comfort of a beautiful cottage with a private pool and wifi. Regarding your complaints There is one sun umbrella holder and the other slots into the round mosaic table. This is so you can have shade at the pool and on the patio.The sun loungers are teak and in good condition as are the sun umbrellas. Before you came the entire cottage had been painted, the deck had been waxed and treated. The cottage has a new cooker, TV and home entertainment system, new rugs, new shower rail and curtain, new toaster,new iron and hair dryer. We provide lots of soft fluffy towels and quality sheets and bedding (new pillows). When you arrived there was a totally complimentary welcome pack for you consisting of tea, coffee, juice, wine, water, biscuits,snacks and olives. How is this not caring about our Guests? We genuinely want our Guest to have a good time and do our utmost to ensure that happens. While you say the plastic holder for the washing up sponge was not nice you fail to mention that you had a brand new washing up sponge, kitchen cloth and pot scourer.We always put these items in new for each new arrival. In summary If the only way we are failing is that you found a speck of dust and weren't happy with the plastic holder we must be doing a pretty good job. What I don't understand is how all of the positive effort we put into trying ensure a happy stay is just not mentioned in your review. It seems very unfair to me.
