Description
This beautiful 200 year old restored village school displays stone walls and rusticity in the wooden floors and furnishings that are contrasted with the colourful painting, antique decorations and smart fittings that occupy this amazing house. It´s a holiday home with many qualities and lot of heart.
The house carries its own history too. It was an old village school with several original elements being left in place when practical, appropriate and attractive such as a deep marble sink, an old stone oven and a grand stone fireplace.
The property has 6 double bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a full equipped kitchen and a big dining room for 16 people.
The cottage looks onto the lovely old patio which provides privacy with the other houses being an appropriate distance away. On the bottom corner of the patio is a sheltered area where you will find a barrel and stools which resembles an area of your own private bar.
The patio doors open to the parking area and the entrance into the private garden.
The private garden (which is completely gated) is moulded around a spacious levelled landscape. There is a large beautiful swimming pool which is cleaned regularly therefore the water is aways crystal clear and salt-filtered. You will find a number of tables and chairs around the swimming pool, so that all guests can be comfortable.
On the second level of the landscape there is a barbecue which is shaded by trees, a childs play house with toys and two seperate dining areas with wooden tables and benches.

Comentarte que para nosotros es muy importante las opiniones de nuestros clientes para mejorar día a día. Referente a la cobertura de la zona, es una zona rural y no hay tan buena cobertura como en la ciudad. Hubiese agradecido que me informaras de que internet no funcionaba correctamente porque se solucionaría al momento, tenemos un técnico de mantenimiento para cualquier incidencia. Referente al césped, ha coincido que estamos realizando la resiembra para mantenerlo perfecto. Lo más importante para nosotros es que nuestros clientes se encuentren cómodos y encantados con la propiedad y te agradezco que comentes que la calidad y calidez de propiedad haya cumplido tus expectativas. “Fantastic!”
We were two families from the U.S. who stayed here. Both groups loved this rental! House is amazing. Surrounding nature magical. Just so beautiful. Tons of things to do. Our two groups stayed for a week...but hated to leave. Can't wait to return! Some highlights: swimming at the house (temperature in June was perfect), very cool Pontevedra (had really good food at Lauiera in Praza Lena), our kids playing with local kids in Ponte Caldelas (hide and seek and dodgeball don't require perfect language skills), creek walks near house, afternoon at river beach in Ponte Caldelas, ice cream and coffee at parador patio in Baiona
