At the most easterly point of the sweeping bay of Mazarron, tucked away beneath a dramatic mountain backdrop enjoying a unique micro climate and crystal clear, safe, shallow waters is the lovely traditional fishing village of La Azohia. With all the amenities of bustling neighbouring resorts only a 10 minute drive away, this idyllic haven is the perfect base for a seaside family holiday, romantic getaway or for exploring the many attractions of the Murcia region. La Casita is a luxurious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom upper holiday property occupying a truly magnificent front line corner plot with glorious elevated and completely uninterrupted south westerly views right over the village to the quaint marina where at night you can see the twinkle of lights as the sun sets over the bay. Whether sitting out on the sunny terrace off the lounge or making full use of the huge private solarium, with its traditional stone BBQ, table/seating, sun loungers and pergola, the open views from La Casita are quite unsurpassed on this already much sought after development.
Furnished to the highest of standards with leather corner seating and traditional Spanish solid wood/rattan furniture finished in a cool blue you will find this a most welcoming holiday home. Everything has been thought of to ensure your comfort. Unattached on three sides the property is especially bright, airy and quiet with ducted air-conditioning and central heating for year round living.
In a little more detail...
As well as full air conditioning/heating in all rooms there is the addition of ceiling fans. Other extras include digital/satellite TV and an upgraded 100L water heater (double the standard size supplied) essential for parties of 4-6. The kitchen is extensively equipped with a large Bosch fridge freezer, dishwasher and high spin (1200 rpm) washer. The master bedroom has a 150 cm bed and en-suite with bath/shower over and there is an additional shower room off the hall. The double room has a 135 cm bed and the twin two 90 cm singles. Children/babies are fully catered for with cot, high chair, portable safety gates, changing mat, microwave bottle sterilizer and many other items including children's/babies' crockery/cutlery.
Occupancy Notes:
We feel that in order to enjoy a property at its best it should not be unreasonably over-occupied and that bedrooms are for sleeping in and lounges for living in! For this reason there are no sofa beds. La Casita is intended to be your 'home' and not just somewhere to sleep. However, we do have a guest bed with a lightweight quilt/bedding suitable for use in the master bedroom which will accommodate a child or young adult (7th guest) and which is available at our discretion depending on your party make up.
Outdoors:
The lounge terrace faces south west with wonderful sunset views and is covered by the floor of the solarium above giving welcome shade in the day time - the ideal place to escape the sun for your lunch. There are steps up to the enormous solarium from the front terrace (75 sq metres), for the exclusive use of La Casita guests, which due to the superb front line location has uninterrupted open views over the village below to the harbour and Tower of Saint Elena beyond. There is a stunning stone tiled BBQ in traditional Spanish chimney style plus a large commercial grade picnic bench accommodating 8 under the cover of a shaded pergola with electric lighting over, plus four commercial quality sun loungers. There is a shower and power point. Both the terrace and solarium are enclosed by gates for the safety of children and have walls or railings around all edges. The pool is just a few minutes walk away - conveniently placed but sufficiently far away as to not allow any disturbance from pool noise. The shallow end is a standard regulation depth of 900 mm.

“Stunning Views”

“Superbly equiped apartment in lovely location.”
The apartment was clean and extremely well equipped, especially the kitchen -everything you could want for preparing meals. Linda was very helpful and prompt in answering any queries. Lovely views across La Azohia to the sea and Capo Tinoso. Only 5 mins walk down to the sea where there is a pretty esplanade stretching about 2km to the little fishing port and more rugged coastal walks over the Cape.

“Nice and very complete apartment”
We have been a week and it has been great. The apartment is located in a quiet place and at the same time close to the beach, restaurants and places to walk. It was very complete and clean. The wonderful views from the terrace where you can sunbathe and cook on the barbecue. We will definitely be back.

“Very relaxing and peaceful”
We had a wonderful 10 nights at Casita, it really was home from home. The area is really peaceful and we loved walking along the seafront. The whole complex is kept immaculate, every day the roads and paths are swept. This is our second stay at San Gines apartments and I'm sure we'll return for a third.
