Description

Expansive views of the Waikato River down to the Lake Taupo Marina this modern 3 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment is just a 5 minute walk to the town centre for shopping, cafes, restaurants and supermarket.

The spacious apartment is located in a secure gated apartment complex with heated swimming pool (October through April) and is fully self-contained including full kitchen with dishwasher, and laundry facilities.

Bedding configuration includes two double bedrooms (with queen beds) and a third bedroom which sleeps another two in single beds. Perfect for families and smaller groups. A portacot and highchair is also available (however guests will need to provide their own cot linen for this)

In the living room there are two comfortable sofas, a new curved screen TV with soundbar.

Free WiFi (internet) and Netflix is available for our guests.

The dining table seats six comfortably with an additional two bar stools at the breakfast bar. Start your day with a morning coffee in the sun on the balcony and watch the sun go down over the Marina with a glass of wine.

Two kayaks with life-vests for adults and children are available free for guest use.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside, however guests are permitted to smoke on the balcony.

Ideal for year-round vacations, there is a purpose built drying/storage room to air out your ski gear after a day on the slopes and a mooring for your boat or jet-ski directly outside the apartment.

The apartment has an internal garage for covered car parking and has direct access to the river banks for fishing, water sports and picnics.

The apartment complex has a heated swimming pool for guests to enjoy from October through to April.

Nukuhau is a central, peaceful suburban area situated on the Northern side of Lake Taupo and its town. It is an easy stroll along the river to the Marina, or through the leafy domain and amphitheatre into town. An ideal base to explore the thermal regions of Taupo and Rotorua, some of the landscape featured in the Lord of the Rings films and just over an hour's drive to the North Island's ski fields, you can experience world class trout fishing, water sports, adventure tourism, thermal pools, local wines and fascinating Maori culture all in one vacation!

As the apartment is accessed stairs it may not be ideal for physically disabled guests. A safety gate at the top of the stairs is available for the safety of children.

A minimum of 2 night stay is normally required unless by special arrangement. Minimum stays of 5 nights may be required over some school holiday periods or peak events.
