“Just perfect!” Our stay was amazing! We arrived to spend a weekend out of the city, and this place was perfect - private & peaceful. We were so impressed with the service - just the right amount, they were there to help, but did not intrude. The unit it's self was well fitted and was much more than I had expected. “Awesome fishing location in plush surroundings” The property is located right on the Tongariro river with access to some of the best fishing pools only 2 min utes walk away. The lodge is very well laid out and with all the mod cons, which were very much appreciated after a hard day out fishing.The Lodge is beautifully decorated and easily accomodated the three of us. The owner had the heating put on for our arrival and a bottle of wine ready to go, great communication and exceptional service.

“Luxury Golf Experience” Besides being a fantastic golf house, this home is ideal for family or group vacations. The vistas across the Kinloch Golf Club are spectacular and we enjoyed being able to walk right onto the golf course from the back yard. This house has everything including a fully functional kitchen, comfortable living areas, and 4 large bedrooms with great views. All the bedrooms are spaciously appointed with ensuite bathrooms, heated towels and comfy bathrobes! The home also has a nifty electronic panel to control the lighting, gas fireplace, and music system containing over a hundred albums. Best of all was the warm hospitality that alistair and his wife Kirstie showed us. They stocked the pantry with breakfast supplies, made dinner reservations for us in Taupo, and helped us book a private chef for our last dinner at the house. Alistair can give you the inside scoop on the golf at Kinloch and other courses around NZ. He can also recommend several great things to do in the area including hikes, walks, bike trails, boating, fishing, and helicopter tours. Too bad we didn't have more time to take it all in. We loved staying here and would certainly recommend it to everyone! Thanks for a lovely time! Cannot wait to return!
