Your hosts - Pam and Nigel Blaikie - welcome you to this beautiful, peaceful and quiet setting, nestled beneath Mt. Karangahake among stunning scenic views and only minutes from trout fishing, historic goldmining walkways, the Hauraki Rail Trail.

This beautiful SELF CONTAINED cottage has:

The cottage is on its own private section at the rear of our property. Our home is on the front part of the section. We endeavour to welcome our guests personally. Nigel is able to provide a briefing on the walks and other activities and areas of interest in the area to enable you to get the most of your time here.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
