Birkeneck is enjoys a superb location close to village and restaurants and yet an oasis of calm surrounded by nature (flowery meadows, crystal clear lakes, impressive Alpine mountains), castles, historic towns, restaurants and activities from cycling, hiking, swimming in the lake or relaxing in hot indoor and outdoor pools, skiing in winter and climbing, taking the cable car to the mountain walks or going for canoeing or even a horse carriage experience.
The beautiful 80sqm apartment is spacious and sunny, offers stunning views of Neuschwanstein castle, 1 double bedroom (2nd sleeping area possible off the foyer), large bathroom with own washing machine, high wood-beamed ceilings, wellness massage armchair, large balcony with panoramic views. Free WiFi internet. Iphone docking station.

“Fantastic Location”
Great location, a car is handy, but if you like to walk, it really isn't essential. The accommodation is both comfortable and warm, with excellent views. Restaurants, bars and shops all conveniently located. Our favourite eating place was Restaurant Helmerhof. Walking to Fussen along the river was lovely as was the wooded walk to Neuschwanstein Caste, you cannot visit Schwangau and not visit the castle, it is spectacular. Didn't want to leave, can'wait to go back. Silke and Caroline were very helpful and provided lots of good tourist information.
