Description

Luxury, private, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, ground floor apartment with south east facing terrace, sea views and underground parking (with lift) in gated community (with 24 hour security). Idyllic spot with all modern facilities and pleasures easily within reach. Enjoy a drink on the terrace in the evening after a day at the beach or by the pool. Two large swimming pools and two children's pools are available within the complex (pools have toilets & showers and life-guards in July and August). The sandy beach is a 6 or 7 minute safe walk along pavements and under a road. There are 2 beach bar/restaurants (chiringuitos) immediately nearby. The pretty unspoilt town of La Cala de Mijas is only a short walk along the new beach walkway . Here there are lots of activities for everyone including a unique trampoline / bungee ride for children.There are plenty of restaurants & shops within a 10 minute walk of the apartment as well as banks, supermarkets etc (note, there is a supermarket just near the beach so you can get supplies en route). There is also a Lidl within walking distance for bigger shopping trips. Miraflores Golf course is a short drive away (the apartment has a set of mens and woman's golf clubs for your use, free of charge). Water sports, boat hire and boat trips are available from nearby Fuengirola, alternatively follow the beautiful people to Puerto Banus with it's super yachts and glamorous million dollar 'jet set' attractions. In the apartment, the main bedroom has a double bed and the 2nd bedroom has 2 singles. Both have plenty of space for clothes etc. There is also a large sofa bed that sleeps two in the living room where you will find the dining table and chairs (please contact owners for use of sofa bed to sleep extra children). There is hot & cold air conditioning throughout the flat (including both bedrooms) and even double glazing.The terrace has lovely views of the gardens. pool and sea but is not overlooked and is to one side of the pool area so no one will be walking past the terrace which is totally quite & private. It gets the sun in the morning but is a little more shaded in the evening. (There is a glass curtain that can be easily rolled out to enclose the terrace on cooler nights in winter). The fitted kitchen has dishwasher, washing machine, toaster & microwave, in addition to cooker & fridge-freezer etc. There is multi-channel cable TV and a DVD player. Fast, fibre optic WiFi Internet is available free of charge inside the flat. Both luxury bathrooms have baths, showers, toilets & bidets and are marble throughout. Linen and towels (including beach towels) are all provided free. Malaga airport is just 30 minutes by car (also accessible easily by rail, bus and the excellent 'Malaga shuttle-bus' service promoted by Ryanair). Marbella is only 20 minutes by car (bus stop to and from Marbella and Fuengirola are just outside also). There are ramps into and around the complex for wheelchair access and a health centre nearby. The underground parking space is near the lift entrance and the apartment front door is near the lift exit so perfect access for wheelchair users. The Costa del Sol Hospital is only 10 minutes drive. Detailed maps & directions are available from the airport, as are train and bus timetables on our facebook page (google facebook ranchocspain). On arrival you will be met by our representatives who will give you the keys and settle you in. Extras such as welcome food packs, & high chairs are available on request. (There is a portable child's playpen/cot & a child car seat available for free). Please let us know if you require airport pickup or any other service. Long term rent available for a reasonable monthly fee, plus electricity (for 2 persons) available from November to March. Contact owner for larger groups and longer stays.

“A most enjoyable stay.”

Everything in the apartment was exactly as shown on line. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you possibly want for self catering. The double bed was extremely comfortable which meant good nights sleep every night. The nearest supermarket was very well stocked and the staff most helpful. The bonus there was the butcher/delicatessen,plenty of fresh choices including sausages made on the premises which were the best we had tasted. The only downside was the steep hill on the walk back from the beach and supermarket,which for older people is quite challenging. However, overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay and Ben, the owner was always connectable and helpful throughout. We would definitely recommend his really nice apartment.

“Fabulous stay in lovely appartment”

Just returned after a lovely stay in Ben’s great apartment. Everything you could wish for and more. The apartment was not only well equipped but had little extras that came in useful, spare sun beds and mattresses, buckets and spades, candles, games ,Cds, DVDs and lots of books to read, The kitchen was well equipped and was stocked with some basics that had presumably been left by previous guest which came in really handy. The only disappointment was the BBQ, which we had been looking forward to using, the gas was empty and had been for some time looking it, In order to change the bottle you had to take it to a local garage and pay aprox €18 Due to the size of the bottle and the fact we had no car that was unrealistic. This was our only small quibble as overall the apartment exceeded our expectations and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely holiday home. I would definitely come back to stay again.

“Lovely break”

The apartment is beautifully fitted out and has everything you could possibly need. The gardens and grounds are well kept and the pool is just a few steps away from the apartment. The only downside for me was the fact you are on a steep hill. Not so bad going down to the sea front, but very difficult coming back up. Having said that it only costs €5 to get a taxi so not a major problem. The boardwalk along the beach is a lovely way to take a stroll and the numerous beach bars and restaurants are all lovely and the food marvellous . It is only a 20 minute walk along the Boardwalk into Calla De Mijas which is a nice little town which has a good market. All in all had a super break and thanks very much Ben for making it so enjoyable.

The plumbing - as with everything else, I think you agree, is generally of a very high standard.
