Description
Finding "budget", unpretentious, fair-priced holiday accommodation is getting more difficult as more and more properties become "luxury", offering you wellness, massages and who knows what else. We keep it simple, but effective: comfortable accommodation that gives you all you need for your holiday, and in a location that is very convenient for the slopes / lifts / hiking paths and all local amenities. Practically everything can be reached on foot in 5 minutes or less.
This comfortable 3rd floor studio apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, central heating and washing & drying facilities. The fully tiled bathroom has a bath, shower, pedestal basin and WC. Sleeping arrangments are provided by a comfortable king size drop down wall-bed - traditional Austrian with 2 single mattresses and quilts on a double base. We also have a travel cot for an infant plus a highchair. The SW facing balcony has seating and a table for al fresco dining, with views over the picturesque village to the hillside meadows & mountains beyond. There is WiFi in the apartment, as well as plenty of places in the village where it is available.

“Excellent Accomodation”
Excellent apartment, everything you need.Bath which was lovely as so often only a shower. Always hot water. Situated close to the centre in easy walking distance to everywhere in Maria Alm. if you like walking excellent footpath and alms to visit at all levels of height and distance! Local entertainment in the town square on Sunday and Tuesday

“Ideal Apartment for couple”
We've been back several times as the apartment fulfils all our needs for a ski week, great location, comfy bed, well equipped kitchen. Ski lift is a 5 min walk away and the bus to other resorts is five minutes the other way. Maria Alm has some lovely friendly restaurants and the journey from Innsbruk, Salzburg or even Munich are very easily done (trains run to connect with buses) so you don't need a car but if you do have one there is ample car parking. Have also stayed in the summer and it is just as good, with the added bonus of sunshine on the balcony whilst having a sundowner! Simon & Justine the owners are very helpful and friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay a great experience.

“We love the place”
The English owners of the appartment (who live in the village too) are very welcoming and helpful and will ensure you have a good stay. It's just a short walk to the first ski lift (or ski bus to next mountain!) and the town centre is not much further. Maria Alm is a lovely little village - some nice restaurants and good ski shops, whilst not brought down by loud clubs and hoards of buses full of day trippers.
