“Home away from home”

Reviewed 20 Jul 2013

Our adult family of five spent our fourth year staying at this house this past June. We love the location and especially enjoy the view of the beach from inside the house. An open layout downstairs allows very comfortable eating, conversing, reading and just plain relaxing! A suggestion would be to have a remote control shade in the master bedroom and a larger flat screen tv in the living room. A tv in the master bedroom would be a plus too. These are minor suggestions, but one we all seemed to agree. The deck is phenomenal and truly enjoyed by all! It is a fantastic home away from home for a week.

“Good place for families”

Reviewed 26 Jun 2013

Very nice place, great beachfront and waterside deck. Good spot for families, if the kids are not too little. (The lack of railings on the deck might be a worry for very small kids.) Centrally located if you want to take day trips to Martha's Vineyard, Plymouth, Boston and the outer Cape like we did. The house is showing some minor signs of wear and tear as a rental. For the extra $50 or $100 it might add to the rent, I'd prefer to have it professionally cleaned between visits rather than relying on the guests to do it. (I don't mind cleaning up after myself, but you can't rely on the previous guests to meet any kind of standard.) It would have been nice to have an empty cupboard for our week's groceries. Instead, the cupboards were full of packaged foods left behind and way more dishes and glasses than you could ever need. All minor complaints meant mainly for management company and owner to consider.

“The location is phenomenal!”

Our fourth time renting this property. My husbands family had 5 properties in e. sandwich. We love the area nd know it quite well! Only two small issues. Master bedroom has so much light in the morning and wakes you. Some would like a large screen tv so they can watch the Bruins win the Stanley Cup! Overall, we Love it and can't wait to return.

“Location, location, location!”

This was our third summer staying at 115 North Shore Blvd. We absolutely love it! You really can't beat staying right on the beach. We plan our days around low tide, which is what the kids look forward to the most. Sandwich has so much to do--from the Boardwalk to the Jam Kitchen to the Fishery. Great shops in Sandwich along 6a and in nearby towns. Crab fishing in nearby towns is always a great time with the kids, too. It is pricey to stay on the beach, but it's definitely worth it.

Comfortable house but outdated. Really needed internet service but their was no modem, so we wasted some time looking, and then contacting your office and waiting for a response and then a modem.

“wonderful beach house”

First time to Cape Cod. Wonderful beach house with a great location and view.

“A very enjoyable home during a very bad weather week”

Reviewed 23 Jul 2009

My family and I along with another family enjoyed our stay even though the weather did not cooperate. This house really made the vacation. The living area allowed us to cook great meals and enjoy games and other indoor fun. The wrap around porch allowed us out doors on rainy days. When the sun finally broke it was an easy walk to the beach which as always we enjoyed. We also really enjoyed the gas fired fireplace on the damp cool nights we experienced. i would recommend this to anyone who wants a beach vacation with some luxury and space.

“Great Place”

Reviewed 2 Jun 2009

Perfect place to relax for a week. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Well furnished, in good condition, with everything we needed. This place is right on the ocean, so we didn't need to drive around looking for beaches. it was great to just open the doors and be on the beach to hang out, go for a walk or dip our toes (too cold to swim). Highly recommend this place. Also, high marks to Maureen at Sand Dollar realty -- very easy to work with.

“Expectations exceeded”

Reviewed 29 May 2009

This beach house in Sandwich, MA exceeeded our expectations in every way. The house was beautiful. The view was phenomenal. The house had virtually everything you could possibly need or want already in it except linens which you were informed about from the beginning. We used the fireplace every night as we listened to the surf pounding outside our screened doors & windows. It was terrific having a full kitchen & washer and dryer at our disposal. It was private & peaceful. We definitely intend to go back to this wonderful home on Cape Cod. We loved this place!

Everything you needed was provided. It was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was more than ample. The view was awesome. It was a place that scream welcome, very comfortable to stay there.
