Shakespeare Court is a fully serviced apartment within a secure and relaxed community. Shakespeare Court is designed for easy living for business visitors & people who are new to Lusaka.

WiFi internet connection is available free in all apartments and is one of the best services in the city. Each apartment has satellite TV and a fully fitted kitchen, so you can prepare meals of your own choice. Next door you will find Crossroads Shopping Mall with some places to eat, a modern supermarket and banking services.

Our regular clients include Airtel, the largest mobile phone operator in Zambia, Toyota the biggest supplier of new cars in Zambia and the US embassy, the richest nation on the globe. We are also the regular home of a number of international consultants and Zambian professionals. People from around the world stay here.

The service includes bed linen, towels and free laundry too. So, you can just bring your suitcase, move in & start living.

“Feels just like home”

It is unfortunate that you had challenges with the showers, our water system is highly pressurised (we use a booster pump) the trickling of water must have been as a results of accumulation of calcium in the pipes which we remove quite often. The clogging in the drains which is usually cause by hair has since been cleaned out. Thank you.

It was a pity that internet connectivity was not all that good, we do get a few challenges once in a while especially during the rainy season (December). Generally internet connectivity is beginning to improve in Zambia. Regarding the odour in the room, whatever caused it must have been removed or cleaned as the smell is no-longer there. Response from the owner Thank you for your candid review. I am so pleased that you found my staff to be attentive - we work very hard at honouring high standards from our faithful team. INTERNET - as you know we are in the Heart of Africa. Internet connection is hugely expensive and not very reliable. Internet connection has been my top challenge since opening Shakespeare Court. Reliability, price and international expectations are a difficult problem to solve. Price of internet is 700 times the price of the UK. No exaggeration or typo. We offer a free service and a pay as you go service. The pay as you go service is about 5mbps (which is quite fast) and pretty reliable. If you watch a lot of movies - it is expensive - but if you just want decent browsing at an acceptable price - then this is the best way to go. Thank you for your other comments - we will take the advice on board and raise our game. Kindest regards Tony

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
