Paradise found. Looking for the convenience of self-catering with all the luxuries of a five-star resort? Look no further than Maison 199. With its spacious interiors and stunning position on the beach, this tropical gem will make all your island dreams come true.
The generously proportioned ground floor is wonderful for relaxing and entertaining. Immaculately decorated lounge, dining and kitchen areas open directly onto a veranda that spans the full façade of the house, offering you magnificent views from every corner.
This is the place to enjoy the delights of the island life: breakfast al fresco while you watch a pair of eagle rays frolic in the turquoise ocean below, then take a swim in your sparkling private pool before strolling to the beach. While Anse Bernik is directly in front of you, it is just one of four private beaches on Eden Island – Anse Tec Tec and Anse Bernitier are a short walk (or EPV-ride) away. And all offer superb swimming, snorkeling and fly fishing.
For those who love to cook, the kitchen is fully equipped with state-of-the-art Miele appliances and there is a Weber gas barbecue. Modern conveniences include washing machine and tumble dryer, and the Maison has satellite TV, ceiling fans and air-conditioning.
Upstairs you will find three gorgeous double bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and separate WC. The master suite opens onto an enormous balcony with comfortable armchairs and sun loungers from which you can enjoy beautiful vistas of the Indian Ocean and Mahe's lush mountains. A perfect location for sundowners. The third bedroom has views to the island of St Anne.
The Maison comes complete with an Electrically Powered Vehicle (EPV)/golf buggy that's ideal for zipping off to Eden Plaza for shopping and restaurants, to the spa for a massage, or to the boardwalk for cocktails and a spot of super-yacht watching.

“Paradise most definitely found...”
There wasn't a moment I did not savor while staying at Maison 199 on Eden Island. The accommodation was perfect; charming, clean and pleasantly modern. Days were spent plunging in the private pool or adventuring to one of Eden's pristine beaches to snorkel, play volleyball or just to sink our toes into the sand. But, my favorite part of the day was relaxing on the balcony while sipping on a cool drink and gazing at the crystal water and palm-dotted beach across the way. A picture I will not soon forget. Most evenings we barbecued on the porch and ate overlooking the water, a perfect way to end the day. Before crawling into bed, sometimes we would take one last dip under the stars or just sit and enjoy our surrounding unspoiled paradise. Each room was tastefully decorated and perfectly captured the tranquil, beach atmosphere. Room-controlled central air throughout the unit made it extremely comfortable, for sleeping and relaxing. I would recommend Maison 199 in a heartbeat. I definitely plan on returning.

“A luxurious, stylish maison just a few steps away from a snorkel and swim in paradise.”
Our family of five ( two teenagers and twelve year old) had a relaxing and enjoyable ten days on Eden Island. We loved the fact that we could walk to a choice of private and beautiful beaches, where the snorkeling was outstanding. The maison was simple and stylish, with every necessity (and many luxuries) provided. Day trips from the island are essential, although we became so relaxed and comfortable that it was often hard to move from the beautiful maison pool, where we could gaze out at the turquoise sea and tropical forests on the mountains. Day drives to the endless and exquisite beaches, and the delightful restaurants on Mahe are essential. Our highlight was a trip to La Digue, where we hired bikes to explore the quaint little island. Paradise for urban weary souls.

“Hopefully next time we can stay longer.....”
We have just returned from our first trip to the Seychelles and this will definitely not be our last! This was in no small part due to the fabulous accommodation we had in Maison 199, Eden Island. Travelling as a family of four this maison provided plenty of space for our 17 year old daughter to find a balcony or lounge for some 'time alone' when the parents and 10 year old sister became a tad irritating (or was that the other way round)? The private swimming pool was a hit at the end of a day of boating, snorkelling or exploring the island. Most evenings we cooked outdoors on the gas barbeque, overlooking the beach directly in front of the unit, still being able to keep an eye on our youngest who spent the evening swimming in the warm pool. It was a little too humid for us to run, so the well-equipped and air conditioned gym was a hit. Whilst the maison had everything we needed, including air conditioning in all rooms, it was the overall quality and comfort of the unit and the pleasant cleaning staff that enabled us to really relax. Eden Island could not be better positioned as the airport is a few minutes away and the island was easy to explore by car or by boat. Hopefully next time we can stay longer.....
