“A fantastic family beach escape”

Reviewed 8 May 2014

Spent 7 days at this wonderful beach hideaway and could have easily stayed longer! Perfectly appointed and suited our family of 4. Gorgeous beach and friendly neighbourhood. Hoi an is a 15 min taxi ride which was the perfect way to spend each evening enjoying all the delicious restaurants. Highly recommend Be's Beach Bungalow.

“Terrific location for a truly relaxing holiday”

Reviewed 20 Apr 2014

As a family with three young children, Be's Beach Bungalow was the perfect location. The bungalow itself is lovely and only a stone's throw from the gorgeous an Bang beach. We loved to watch the traditional fishing boats going out to sea and then enjoy fresh fish for lunch or tea at the nearby restaurants. The bungalow is very well equipped and aaron is readily available should you need him. We were very sorry to leave and would happily have stayed longer.

“Beautiful and relaxing!”

Our stay at Be's Beach Bungalow was fantastic! Aaron and Huong were wonderful hosts and made every aspect of the booking, traveling and staying easy! We were able to order groceries beforehand which were in the fridge when we arrived, Aaron provided a cell phone with pre-programmed taxi company phone numbers, our housekeeper and gardener Ms. Mai and Mr. Kich were lovely, accommodating and helpful! I can't say enough good things about the wonderful week we spent here. The beach is gorgeous and is not overrun with tourists - and it is only about a minute's walk from the front gate of the villa! There is also a lovely beach umbrella and chairs reserved for your use as a villa guest. It is about a 10-15 minute inexpensive taxi ride into the town of Hoi an which is gorgeous - but staying in the villa allows you to take a break from the heat and the busyness of the bustle of town. The villa itself is beautiful and comfortable, 2 large bedrooms with bathrooms, a sizeable kitchen and lovely outdoor space for relaxing. I would definitely stay here again (and I hope to!). You should definitely take advantage of this gem!

“A beach haven for our family near Hoi an”

We wish we could have stayed longer! The bungalow is beautiful and comfortable, located just steps away from the beach and a short moto ride from Hoi an. Aaron took care of our every need (recommendations, laundry, airport transfers, groceries, bicycles, and motos) and set us up to maximize our vacation time. We had a wonderful stay at Be's Beach Bungalow.

“A magical experience.”

We had an amazing time in Hoi an and at Be's Beach Bungalow, if only we could have stayed longer!! This home is a true gem and aaron is a wonderful host. The house is beautifully designed and steps from the beach. We hope we can get back to Hoi an and stay again!

“Beautiful little beach bungalow away from the hustle and bustle”

Reviewed 15 Nov 2013

We stayed at Be's as a group of 4 in October. Great location, close enough to cycle to Hoi an but far enough to make you feel like you've escaped the throngs. It's tucked away down a tiny street in an Bang and it was always an adventure walking through the village to get back. The bungalow is spotless, airy and quiet (if you are big on privacy, though, just keep in mind that it has open ceilings). The kitchen has everything you need and it's a real treat being able to order groceries before you arrive. Nice restaurants a short walk down the beach if you don't feel like cooking - particularly the pizza place. There was a typhoon moving through the area a few days before we arrived and aaron was great at keeping us informed about the weather and how the bungalow had fared in the storm (very well). He also gave us a local cell phone and kept in touch with us on it, which was super useful. I'd absolutely recommend this place to friends, such a cool alternative to staying in some generic hotel in the middle of the hustle and bustle.

“A hidden treasure”

Reviewed 11 Nov 2013

We recently spent 5 nights at Be's Bungalow and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is such an oasis of calm and tranquility in a quiet fishing village a short distance from Hoi an. The fantastic beach is a stones throw away and my daughters had endless fun on the white sand and in the warm sea. The bungalow itself was beautiful, spotless, well equipped and so comfortable. Every need was met, including grocery shopping (delicious sausages!), daily laundry and Wifi. Aaron and Huong were so friendly and helpful and ensured that we always had everything we could possibly need. There was a well equipped kitchen but with some great restaurants just down the beach we could cook as often or as little as we liked. There is no doubt we shall be back, for us it ticked all the boxes, Hoi an is such a beautiful town and to have this idyllic hideaway to retreat to on this untouched stretch of beach just tops it off. Thanks so much for a fantastic stay we shall see you soon!

“Chilled out bungalow beside a lovely beach”

Reviewed 17 Sep 2013

Stayed at the bungalow in august 2013 while on a motorcycle holiday to Vietnam. We stayed for 3 days and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area. Aaron was most accommodating and a great source of local knowledge. We had secure parking for our motorcycles, cold beers on arrival, given a local mobile phone to stay in touch, housekeeper to do our laundry free of charge and excellent wifi connection. I have since recommended the bungalow to other friends traveling in Vietnam. Definitely a highlight of my trip made complete with a beach about 20 steps away from the front door. Cheers aaron

“Great holiday home right by the beautiful an Bang beach”

Reviewed 16 Sep 2013

Stayed here for a week with my wife and son in august--amazing spot as it's right by the beach in a really quiet fishing village and there is absolutely nothing on that part of the beach. No developments at all. Just the odd fisherman mending his net in a coracle and really clean water, sand. The house is really nicely done -- big garden for kids to muck around in, big dining table for meals outdoors, and a huge low table-bed thingy (lounge or day bed?)for snoozing on. Beds are comfy and standard mod-cons--AC and free WiFi. A cleaner came everyday to help out and the family can help with any request. I loved Be's Bungalow as you can cook all your meals -- the family who runs it can get you any groceries you want -- and I am sooo sick of hotels with crappy buffets in Vietnam! One other nice touch -- there was pre-made Vietnamese coffee so I could make my own "ca phe sua da"! When you don't want to cook, or make your own coffee, you can just stroll down to the restaurants on the beach (about 400m) where you can find a couple of cool European run places (Soul Kitchen is really cool) and a dozen or more local seafood joints (amazing, cheap seafood). There's even a tiny Italian pizzeria if you have kids in need of some comfort food. And Hoi an's old town is only 10 mins away by taxi -- its a bit touristy there, so we appreciated having our own "exclusive" place to stay by the beach with the option of shooting in by taxi for dinner/ dessert/ drinks etc. All in all, our favourite spot that we've discovered so far for staying in Hoi an and for what you get, decent value too. Will be back sometime this year for sure.

“A very memorable happy family holiday at Be's Beach Bungalow...s”

Reviewed 8 Sep 2013

We are a family of 5 from New Zealand and we have just had the best holiday at Be's..We spent 6 nights there and will be coming back as soon as we can! We have 3 young children, 8,7 and 5yrs and Be's was just perfect. Aaron, Huong and Kashi were fantastic hosts and welcomed us to the bungalow and gave us all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. From their home-made sausages and yoghurt to the hiring of the bikes, cold beers and wine, required groceries booked in advance this simply was a beautiful holiday for a family. The beach is steps away and so safe for swimming, it was hard to get our kids out of the water, amazing clean beach. Restaurants and bars just a short stroll along the beach. The local lane that the bungalow was on made our stay all the more special as it was full of local friendly people and families. Our children played with the kids on the lane, there is also a wonderful house keeper Mai and her husband Kich who looks after the garden. Really I never write reviews but I couldn't pass on writing a review for such an amazing place. Thank you aaron, Huong and Kashi...we really hope we see you again
