“Vacation home in Paradise!”

Wonderful home, everything you need; private, gated community. Spectacular view; Ocean front-loved it

“Amazing Villa!”

Reviewed 5 Jun 2014

I highly recommend this villa for your stay in Turks and Caicos. We had a large group of friends and family together to celebrate a few 40th birthdays. This villa was well equipped and had plenty of space to stretch out or get some alone time. The pool was awesome and just steps away from the ocean which we spent plenty of time in as well. The stingrays passing by in the morning was incredible and most of us waited for them to come by each day. The villa was immaculate and had plenty of beach towels for everyone to use. The fact that an extra fridge was in the downstairs area next to the pool made it easy access for our favorite cocktails. The communication and suggestions from the owner were great.

“Amazing family vacation! Sunset Point paradise”

Reviewed 16 Apr 2014

Wow! Where do we start? We just enjoyed an amazing week at sunset point villa. It is a piece of paradise and a slice of heaven. We loved it so much. The villa is beautiful. While the pictures and description are nice, they can't do full justice to the experience. Our stay was nothing short of superior. Prior to our arrival Bob was very attentive, always answering email questions quickly. The service was wonderful too. We were welcomed by Julian and he gave us a great introduction to the villa as well as the island and all it has to offer. We loved all the added touches! The villa has so much available for a family vacation. It was the perfect set up for our family. We have four children ages 15,13,12 and 10 and they all loved it! The pool toys and raft are great and were put to immediate use. The extra touches upon arrival made out hearts warm and made us feel so welcome. We rented kayaks and stand up paddle boards and we enjoyed using them right off the dock. We also chartered a boat and enjoyed a day of exploring and wake boarding with Nautique sports. Sam and Jake were awesome and the kids loved the adventure. The location of the villa is great too. Taylor Bay beach is so beautiful and we loved swimming over to play on the beach. The sand is so pristine. Another bonus were the two nice tennis courts. We had many family matches on those courts. We hope to have the chance to return to the amazing Sunset Point Villa.

“The Best Yet!”

This villa is perfect. Close to the airport, beautiful setting, easy swim or walk to Taylor Bay, spacious well-kept house, bigger-than-most swimming pool, well-stocked kitchen, very helpful staff. We are going back next year.

“Giant disappointment”

Reviewed 14 Feb 2014

We have been renting caribbean villas since 1993 and this rates the lowest. The Good is that the describtion of the facility is fairly accurate to what is there. The condition is hurting to say the least. Deferred maintenance includes glass doors that can not open and most screens need 2 hands or people to operate. Nothing was said about the 79 steps troughout. There is no batroom at pool level. We were eaten alive by mosquitos, until they srayed. Management was very responsive, but you can only do so much for a sows ear. The worst was the sewage smell, which is adjacent to 3 of the bedrooms. The view is outstanding and rays came by the dock most mornings and late afternoons. A major remodel is needed now.

Response from the owner Jon, We're sorry that you were disappointed with your stay. We always follow up with a phone call or email after a guest returns home to make sure everything met or exceeded their expectations. In our phone call with Gary, who was part of your party and made the booking, he indicated that he was very satisfied with the villa and his stay, so your review was unexpected. However, he did mention the smell from the septic. Upon inspection, there was one motor that needed to be replaced, which was immediately done. In addition, all bedroom sliding glass doors and screens have been replaced since your stay. They were already on order, and I'm sorry the new ones were not in place while you were there. I believe your two major concerns have been addressed. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience they may have caused. Maintenance, cleanliness, and great customer service are all very important to us. We believe that's why we've consistently received excellent reviews for almost 10 years.

“Best family vacation ever!!!”

Reviewed 12 Jan 2014

Where to begin...simply awesome! Our family spent a week at Sunset Point Villa in Provo and in all ways our expectations were far exceeded! The villa is fully equipped--from the kitchen to the dock! Many of the other reviews found here are accurate with regards to amenities and comfort. The air and water temps even in January were perfect! Taylor Bay beach is both beautiful and serene. The sand is as soft as confectionary sugar! We were content floating to Taylor Bay beach each day, snorkeling by the rocks and hanging out by the pool. The Villa is well equipped with floats, tubes, pool toys and snorkeling gear! We rented jet skis for a 2-hour window and had them delivered right to the dock - not only a blast but super convenient! We prepared most meals right at the Villa and the kitchen is fully equipped, including a good size Weber gas grill! We did check out a few restaurants worth mentioning - Las Brisas, right up from the Villa and Mr Grouper's Restaurant, which was a little bit of a drive and off the beaten path, however a great little find. Couple warnings - don't charter a fishing boat until you arrive and determine if the fish are running! Apparently when it's been windy or stormy the fish run and hide! Unfortunately, rather than the boat captain suggesting our guys reschedule, he took their $1300...and consequently, they didn't have a single bite! Towards the end of the week (as the fishing improved), the native boaters were coming right to our dock with freshly caught lobsters - just be prepared to negotiate. We paid $50/4 lobsters! Only a couple observations I made with regards to potential Villa improvements - a kayak would be a great addition (though perhaps a safety issue). And, perhaps child safe deck railings all around - seems it may be super easy for a small child (1-4 years old) to fall through the deck rails. This was by far the best family vacation ever! Looking forward to coming back to T&C; and staying at the Sunset Point Villa!

“incredible views , swimming , snorkelling ,and sunsets!”

Book this Villa it is fantastic!! Excellent location facing south west. 5000 sq ft and easily accommodated 8 of us no problem. It was one of the most well stocked houses I have ever rented. Plenty of towels in bathrooms and tons of beach towels. Kitchen had plenty of cutlery, plates ,etc, and with a brand new Weber BBQ it was a pleasure to cook in. Also staff leaves all previous non perishable food from previous renters which is nice as you dont have to buy everything all over again. Also the property managers Dinesh and Justin provide you with a fruit tray , sunchips and a six pack of beer. Very nice touch and much appreciated.!! Lots of patio furniture for everyone. Well equipped in terms of air matresses and flippers. However no body wash or shampoo provided so bring your own. Lack of central air no problem as there are plenty of sliding doors in every room as well as louvred windows and cross breezes. There are unit air conditioners in each room however ,so only a few nights we turned it on for 30 minutes. We were not charged any extra for using the air conditioning. I would recommend renting a car. Especially as we went out for dinner most of the week. The sand fleas got to a few of us .We called the property managers and they promptly had the bushes in the back sprayed by a pest company within hours. Quick service. They also waited 5 hrs after a delayed flight at airport. Then escorting us to the Villa after a quick stop to the grocery store. We were very comfortable and happy with Sunset Point. Considering square footage and location it was most reasonable in price compared with other nearby villas.

“Words cannot describe the time we had!”

Absolutely stunning villa in an even more stunning location. Villa is well kept with a ton of space for our group of 7. We had such easy access to Taylor and Sapodilla Bay. Enjoyed snorkeling, swimming in the crystal clear pool overlooking the idyllic waters of the Caribbean. Sunsets were amazing. Only a 3 minute walk to Chalk Sound. Also very close to a stellar restaurant called Las Brisas. A must try when visiting. I have been to some of the most beautiful tropical places in the world including Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora, Rarotonga, Aitutaki and Dominican Republic, and this visit at Sunset Point easily competed with them all for beauty. I can't wait to return to this place.

“A beautiful villa, an ideal spot, nothing could have been better”

Reviewed 12 May 2013

Eight of us came to this beautiful villa for our first trip to Turks & Caicos. The food and drinks were a bit expensive on the island, but the house and its amenities made up for this. We enjoyed everything about this wonderful villa, especially the fantastic views from all rooms, and the exquisite pool area and dock. It was nice to have the music available around the pool and a selection of movies for the late night crowd. The sunsets lived up to our expectations, and that beautiful aqua-blue, warm water exceeded our expectations. We were pleased with the visit we received explaining the various home features, suggestions for restaurants, island spots suggested to visit, and more. We also thought the cleaning crew did a fantastic job during the mid-week cleaning. The Scuba Diving on French Cay was wonderful. The food everywhere we dined was very good to superb. We hope to visit your lovely home again some day!
