Secluded and quite 1 bedroom cottage just a 4 minute walk across Newport Ave bridge to numerous activities and businesses in downtown Bend.

Our goal is to provide a well equipped envirovemnt and ensure folks are not wasting their precious time chasing down the little things like spices, condiments and even sun screen. I am glad that you figured out the easy ways to park on the pad. At first glance, it can appear daunting- it is a visual thing each driver sees differently. Driving an unfamiliar rental car can add to this "experience", However, the pad dimensions actually exceed City requirements even for public street parking. Upon guest arrival, I triy to be present to suggest easy approaches which, when repeated in reverse, equal easy departure. As you mentioned, once one figures out the correct approach, all is good after that. On the same topic, I will review the driving instructions and perhaps add a sentence or two on parking approached. Thanks for the idea.

Really everything you need is available, also very well maintained and clean. The garden with terrace and a great seating area is fantastic. Very spacious and you have many different areas to sit or lie down. The location of the cottage is very quiet but still very well located for walking. Landlord Don and his wife Marline are very helpful and friendly. They always make sure that you do not miss anything and you can contact them at any time. Our conclusion: Highly recommended and should we come back to Oregon, it will be this place !!

Just head out Cottage's private entry and walk to downtown in 4-5 minutes (walking time varies as guests taking in the sights of the Deschutes river, Mirror pond and dam spillway. We enjoy hosting our Cottagers and let them set the tone for how much or little interaction we have together. The unique setting of the Cottage, downtown but situated on over .25 secluded acres, gives the property an almost mystical enchantment. Prior to your arrival, the previous Cottagers just enjoyed the grounds save going out for a meal or two. Please do share our hide-a-way with your family and friends.
