Description
WE RENT ONLY INDIVIDUAL ROOMS AND NOT THE WHOLE PROPERTY. WE (the owners) LIVE ON THE UPPER FLOOR AND WE RENT THE TWO ROOMS ON THE GROUND FLOOR.
"Tranquilty" is my home. It is also home to my family comprising of my wife and our two dogs. Situated in the middle of my Tea Plantation it is the ideal location to get away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, the cacaphony of beach parties and city traffic. Breathe clean air, eat and learn to cook traditionally prepared local cuisine, have a dip in our pool and get a relaxing massage. Tranquility offers this and much more. My wife is a Latvian national & I have lived more than 20 years in Europe. So we know first hand what Westerners expect when they go on holiday. We speak fluent English, German, Russian and have a working knowledge of Swiss German dialects, French, Spanish and Italian. At "Tranquility" you can live according to Western standards and experience Sri Lanka like a local.
Relax & recharge your batteries. Let us spoil you with country style food cooked on a traditional wooden stove and clay pots. Spices ground on a grinding stone. Make it a base to visit Kandy, Pinnawela, the cultural triangle and the hill country.

“Beautiful location”
2 night stay at this beautiful piece of paradise outside Kandy. Arjuna was a great host and was helpful with transportation. Dinner and breakfasts were some of the best we have eaten so far.

If Arjuna (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
