Description

Nice top floor apartment situated in the very heart of Bergen, just behind the famous "Bryggen" (the city quays/harbourside), in the street called Steinkjellergaten. Very central, as it is merely 200 meters walk from the apartment to Bryggen quays and to the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel and about 300 meters to the Bergen Fishmarket. The Bergen Fishmarket is in the middle of the city centre, and is one of the major tourist spots, and here you will find the tourist office as well.

As you can imagine, it is therefore walking distance from the apartment in Steinkjellergaten to most sights, shops, bars and restaurants. The nearest soup cafè is about 20 meters from the entrance door! The nearest grocery shop and corner shops (open till late) is about 50 meters away. There are several very nice barista places (cafè) in the neighborhood.

The apartment has a balcony with rooftop view over the city centre including the harbour, with ships/boats coming in and out. Imagine relaxing on the balcony in the evening sipping to a glass of red wine?

WiFi: the apartment has got free wireless HighSpeed internet connection for my guests! Speed is 20MBPS download and 5MBPS upload. Fast enough for most people :-)

The apartment has got 2 Bedrooms. Bedroom #1 has got 2 single beds of width 80cm (can be put together to one double bed width 160cm). Bedroom #2 has got a 140cm wide double bed. The living room has got a sofabed (pull-out-bed) that sleeps 2.

Maximum people would then be 6 (if you are a family with children). It is not recommended for 6 adlult/individuals, will be a little crammed.

The apartment has got TV with a couple of foreign channels (english spoken).

Kitchen with amenities including stove, fridge/freezer, water kettle, microwave oven, Nespresso coffemaker (bring coffecapsules or buy at the Nespresso store in Strandgaten of Bergen). Clothes washingmachine in the bathroom. Shower and WC. Bathroom floor has got heating cables. The general standard of the apartment would be rated high.

Parking: no parking immediately outside the house, use street parking or P-house.
