Description
Situated in the sought-after area of Jardines de Calahonda, next to natural parkland, facing south-west so that you have sun all day whilst overlooking wonderful gardens, and glimpses of the sea.
This first floor apartment (walk up 13 steps) has great views across the sumptuous gardens. Whilst resting on the peaceful terrace you can admire the sea views and enjoy the breeze.
Indoors, the master bedroom leads to an ensuite bathroom and the twin room has a shower room. All bedrooms have plenty of hanging space and airconditioning. There is a large television with UK channels, superfast fibre WiFi in the living room, together with DVD player, bluetooth speaker and a docking station. The fully fitted kitchen offers all mod cons including halogen hob, dishwasher and washing machine.
In this wonderful climate al fresco dining is the norm and the terrace dining table will comfortably accommodate you for lunch. You can relax on the terrace with a pot of coffee or jug of sangria and soak up the sun. The terrace which is is partly covered by a toldo (awning) offers a choice of sun or shade. Or sit by one of the 2 pools or the children's pool
This is the ideal place to enjoy a relaxing pool or beach holiday but due to its location mid way between Fuengirola and Marbella, Calahonda is also a perfect base for sightseeing and for visiting many wonderful locations in Andalusia and Southern Spain. The Costa del Sol is great for golf enthusiasts and the nearest course is just minutes away from the apartment. The apartment is a great choice for those who choose not to hire a car as all local amenities are within walking distance, public transport is cheap and reliable and bus stops for Marbella and Fuengirola are within easy reach.
The apartment complies with all local laws and was granted a Tourist Rental Licence in 2016; this is essential for renting in Andalucia

“Really lovely apartment & grounds”
I was originally looking for a 1 bedroom apartment but never got that 'feeling' from my search so I expanded to look at 2 bedrooms and John's apartment really grabbed me. The apartment pictures are exactly how it looks, we found it to be very clean and it was nice to have a dishwasher and washing machine if needed. The balcony was lovely and we spent many a lazy morning eating breakfast here deciding what to do for the day. It was great having Lidl close by to stock up on supplies. The pools were great and barely used so it felt like we had our own private pool on several occasions. We had a hire car but as mentioned in previous reviews you could easily manage without a car (as long as you don't mind walking back up the hill). There are a row of restaurants and bars about 20 mins walk from the apartment so we didn't feel like we always had to get in the car to go anywhere. John was very helpful in the lead up to our stay with recommendations and also left a file of info in the apartment which helped greatly.

“Perfect apartment”
Perfect little apartment with everything you need within walking distance. The pools are great and the grounds arw very well maintained. Would definitely recommend a walk or short taxi to Puerto Cabopina marina with its lovely restaurants. Thanks again John for being so responsive before our holiday

I generally do the same, fresh bread in the morning, stroll along the boardwalk, stop for lunch somewhere, have a glass (or 2) of wine and then wander back for a swim and resting on terrace enjoying the afternoon and evening sun. Since the apartment block is mainly residential it is normally quiet and the pools are rarely busy. Thanks again.

“Fabulous Holiday”
We have just returned from a fabulous week at the Jardines. We loved the gardens that are so well kept throughout the week. The pool was quiet and never very busy, so no rushing down at the break of day to reserve a place. The beach and supermarket are so close, everything is in walking distance. We loved Capobino marina, and ate there most nights. John the apartment owner was so helpful and provided us with loads of local info before we arrived, which was much appreciated. We will be back...
