Description

Comfortable and quiet rooms with a beautiful garden (3000 m2). Two doublerooms and 1 singleroom. Free Wifi. All rooms have a private bathroom (one with a big bath), TV, fridge, watercooker, coffeeapparatus, free WIFI, etc. Rooms in the first floor. Easy stairs and stairslift. Own entry.

Separate diningroom with kitchenette where you can prepare breakfast and meals. With fridge, oven/microwave, cookingplate and air-fryer. During the coronasituation no breakfast is served.

There is much privacy, so you can relax in a green environment. You can walk free in the beautiful garden with different terraces.Hernen is a lovely little village in a very interesting region between the two big rivers Maas and Waal (Rhine). It is situated near Wijchen, Nijmegen, Arnhem and the German border. Amsterdam is at 110 km. It is very well suited for birding, cycling (we rent bikes) and walking and visiting little old towns, museums, interesting cities like Nijmegen, Arnhem, Den Bosch and others. There is a good entrance to the principal highroads so that other pleasant ciities like Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Den Haag and some cities in Germany, can easily be reached .In Nijmegen you will find Welnesscenters, Museums, a nice quay and old streets with restaurants and shops and a casino. In the neighbourhood you can find castles, mills, dikes, interesting gardens and famous gardens like theTuinen van Appeltern. There are golf-links and Termen in Park De Beerendonck. Many guests visit the Airborne Museum in Arnhem, the Kröller-Müller Museum at De Hoge Veluwe, the Rijksmuseum and Van Goghmuseum in Amsterdam, the world-famous Deltaworks in Zeeland or the wellknown park De Efteling for entertainment of children and their parents.There are so many interesting things to see in Holland, we invite you to visit our country.

Getting around

The famous castle of Hernen is on walking distance, about 250 m. You can rent bikes if you want to go further on. By car you will reach all the interesting other curiosities in the region. During the week a bus can bring you (once in an hour) to Wijchen and the railwaystation A good restaurant is at 1,5 km from our house. There are more good restaurants in Wijchen, at 5 km, as well as supermarkets. A cafetaria is in the direction of Bergharen. There is also a fishing pond.

How do damage deposits work?
